My experience as a tenant in Chester was awful from start to finish. Repairs were slow and painful, getting anything fixed took far too long, and even getting a simple reply from the landlord (via the agent) dragged on for ages. The overall attitude felt like delay, deflect, repeat. The deposit process was the final straw. When it came to returning the deposit, it felt like they tried to “find” reasons to deduct money rather than handle it fairly. Items were raised that weren’t even listed at check-in, which makes no sens yet you’re expected to either accept it or prepare for a long, stressful challenge to get your own money back. As a tenant you’re at a disadvantage, and it felt like they knew that and relied on the fact most people won’t have the time or energy to fight. I wouldn’t recommend them to renters. If you do rent through them make sure to document everything!!!

We have recently moved house and used Aimee O’Neill as our mortgage advisor. I cannot speak highly enough of Aimee - she not only got us a fantastic deal on our mortgage, but also negotiated the purchase price on our behalf. Aimee is very responsive and communicative, and always followed through on any actions. She kept us updated at every stage, even on a bank holiday, liaising with both the estate agents and solicitors. We had a nightmare by having to change our mortgage only a week before completion and Aimee worked extremely hard to get everything processed and approved in time. Thank you so much Aimee - you made a very stressful situation much easier!

I have given the estate agents a 3 for a number of reasons. The good point is that they do follow instructions by putting the for sale sign in an appropriate location. They also get buyers through the door. However that is where it stops. I showed buyers round the house, I got the offer. I also re-negotiated, when appropriate. I was also told off by the estate agents for not informing them of changes, which were made due to my negotiating. They also didn’t mention that fee excluded vat. It is also difficult to get hold of the office. Overall very expensive but once the buyers visit my property I took over the work required to make the sale.

My partner and I recently rented a new place. We were so lucky to get to work with Bryn Griffith. He was so attentive, easy to communicate with and just simply kind!
