GoogleI recently sold through CJ Hole, I was thinking about using a low cost company like purple bricks, but I decided to go through a local estate agents….. I’m so glad I did! Not only did they get us full asking price, but the after sales service (Jenni) was amazing, their local relationships with solicitors and other businesses kept a tricky chain in place. They went the extra mile which I don’t think you would get from others. Highly recommended.

GoogleJenni has been outstanding from Day 1 and I simply can't thank her enough! My purchase has been ongoing for 8 months, yet throughout, Jenni has proactively kept me informed of progress, the reasons behind the delays etc. Without her making me feel valued, I would likely to have pulled out of the purchase, as she has been my only source of information. A genuine, polite, friendly lady, who even helped me choose replacement floorings - above and beyond - outstanding - invaluable. Thank you Jenni!!!!!!

They always informed us of up and coming viewings and dealt with them efficiently, professionally and with minimum impact on us. We were very satisfied with the whole process and we feel we achieved a very satisfactory price for the property. Thanks to everyone at the office.

GoogleProperty management is appalling. Lack of communication and no compassion for their tenants. I reported a WASTE WATER leak in January that has destroyed the exterior of the building and the garden and has left stagnant waste water in our garden for months and now in May i am yet to see the building be repaired, even after environmental health declaring this a hazard to public health - no sense of urgency to actually fix the repair, no compensation, not even an ounce of empathy from any of the property management team or the owners. I chase the issue and just get ignored. Minor issues may get looked at but not worth the risk with this company.

As we've previously explained, unfortunately CJ Hole do not have any authorisation to carry out repairs to the building as this is the responsibility of the block management company, so any negative feedback should be directed to them.

Professional and friendly throughout, helped me find a suitable rental property to meet my specific needs and from viewing through to moving in, I could not have asked for a better service. Orrin was our primary contact, provided a timely viewing, helpful professional advice and total understanding to help us secure the property and trouble free moving in. Abby was also super helpful and empathetic in helping us share our situation and advise how best to work towards securing a suitable property. GoogleMy advice, ask questions and communicate often. Everyone will of course have a different experience, but many issues (at least what i experienced) can be resolved with talking. My experience renting a property through was actually up and down a lot, but much of that was not fully understanding CJ Hole’s role, and I know others have had a similar experience. Much of the problem ends up on the landlords end, CJ Hole are either essentially broker for the rental and then hands off (in which case it’s all down to landlord) or they are essentially a middle man representing the landlord (in which case they still have to get approvals from the landlord for things). My case was the latter, and there were some delays in repairs once or twice, but considering the back-and-forth of getting quotes, going to the landlord, going back to the providers, etc, it’s no wonder. It’s not what I’m used to having not come from here, but having the process explained to me, particularly by Orrin, helped put everything into context. It’s a stressful thing dealing with the place you and your family live and with so much money, but my overall experience was good once I was able to fully understand everyone’s role.

GoogleI used C J Hole to find tenants for my rental property for 10 years so when I wanted to sell the property, they were the obvious choice. Jackie was friendly but professional from the start and advised me on what decorations and repairs were required before placing the property on the market. She then helped me achieve the full asking price on the property. But her help didn't stop there, she and her team continued to help push the sale through until I exchanged contracts with the buyers. Very happy with their service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend C J Hole for both managing rentals and for selling properties.

GoogleI sold my house in Cheltenham through C J Hole. A nightmare from beginning to end. I seriously regret ever appointing them and I wish I had just switched direction. The one silver lining was the Saturday girl, she was really good and a breath of fresh air. Choose your estate agent wisely :).
