One of the worst valuators

One of the worst valuators. I had signed up for an Octopus Commercial Bridging Finance deal and Fenn Wright commercial were sent to perform valuation. They took 8 weeks to respond to emails and communication and after persistent chasing they finally came on the 10th week, they simply dont respond at all. On they day of valuation, came a senior commercial valuator and a trainee. The senior guy did nothing but talk on phone outside and let the trainee do the job himself, he dint know how to use the tools to do the measurements.They went back and no response for about 6 weeks! then after chasing again sent a report with absolute terrible low down valuation with comparable as far away of 25 miles! In the same street there are commerical comparables which they did not put on their report, instead somewhere far of. After push back and arguments, they sent another report after 2 weeks with some decent valuation. Meanwhile my offer with Octopus had expired and had to reapply and ended up getting an investor loan and by the time I was granted bridging finance, I was almost half way through the project refub

Great professional service

My wife had to find an estate agent to sell her Aunt's property. As we don't live in the area it was a bit of a random choice to be honest, but from the very first phone call to Kirsty at Fenn Wright in Stanway to book a valuation, to Paul coming to the property to value and take details (the sales particulars looked amazing) right through to great advice and fabulous sales progression by Kirsty in what turned out to be a lengthy process although the property sold on day one. We couldn't have made a better choice if we’d tried. We had weekly updates from Kirsty, quite often before my solicitor updated us. We would 100% recommend Fenn Wright if you are looking for great professional service

This is not our first time of dealing with Fenn Wright over the years for both purchase and sale and have found service, pricing and customer service very very good. However it was the relationship that we built with Aston that we knew we would get the service we need. he was at a competitors agency when we met him but quickly became affiliated with him and the way he conducted his sale and client relationship, which of course to the advantage of Fenn Wright was when he moved, we obviously followed and put our last house on market with him which he sold (in pandemic) within 3 days!!! That has a lot do to with the negotiator and how he manages the sale all the way through to completion. Never has he "sold and forgot" ..... highly recommend Fenn Wright but also Aston if you are needing an agent in Chelmsford and surrounding areasPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Lessons learnt. First buyer months in shifted quickly to an identical property in the block on a small technical issue, second buyer ghosted after offer, third buyer took near six months with no exchange and miraculously secured another property in two days.!!!! Progressing is extremely weak and ineffectual.

Amazing service!

From the very start of our home search, the service received from Fenn Wright has been amazing. Over and above service…

I always knew I would use Fenn Wright when the time came to sell and I wasn't disappointed. First Phil, then Kirsty have been amazing. Kirsty especially has gone over and above to get us to completion. In fact I was kept more informed by her than I was by my solicitor and the agent we were buying through. Incredible service. If I could give them 6 stars I would!
