Our first experience buying a home. My girlfriend and I have been walked through every step of the process with confidence and professionalism by the whole team at Adrians in Chelmsford. I’d like to give a special mention to Nigel who initially walked us around our chosen home and took us through the basics of what to look for and what the next steps were, Also to Gary who was fantastic every step of the way, from explaining legal jargon and which part of the process I need to complete next to calling up the sellers and their solicitors to make sure there was someone barking on both ends. Thanks to everyone at Adrians again. Now time to move! 😊

We have recently purchased a property through Adrians and we would highly reccommend Adrians, particularly Ray Cline who has been our direct contact throughout. As we are moving to a relatively new area Ray took the time to talk to us about all of the different parts of the town and how it would suit our lifestyles. He really got to know us and then used this information along with his extensive knowledge of the area to direct us to properties that would fit. Due to his care and attention to detail, we didnt waste any time going to see properties that werent right. When we did find the one, both Ray and Nigel went above and beyond to accomodate viewings around our busy schedules. Ray then supported us throughout the purchase demonsrating how much he cared not only for us as purchasers but also the sellers, his clients. Given that we have been trying to complete through the COVID crisis the team have always been on the end of the phone and have made sure to stay in touch with us providing regular updates. The service they have continued to provide throughout has been exceptional given the circumstances. We are really excited to move to the area and into our new property. We recognise that Ray and Adrians have been key to our move, supporting us throughout. Thank you all so much, whilst we dont plan on moving any time soon we will definetly be using Adrians for any future sale.

Had a substantial property to sell which had to be placed in competition with another Agent who were supposedly experts in high end property sales! Gary and the team at Adrians were nothing but professional throughout. Viewings were carried out by Gary, with extensive follow ups and feedback on a weekly basis. We managed to sell in the midst of Brexit which was a true reflection on Adrians being able to deliver in extremely tough times. A challenging sale!

Having to sell your parents home is never an easy or enjoyable thing to do, especially after a sudden loss and needing to provide care for a vulnerable parent. Having had several agents round to value and sell the house, we were immediately impressed by our first meeting with Gary Ketley and were happy to appoint Adrians. An open house was speedily set up all handled by our agents and a quick sale was soon on the cards. However a complication concerning a power of attorney issue put a spanner in the works which, to cut a long story short, made things considerably harder. We must say that we were incredibly impressed with the patience and professionalism of all at Adrians during this long and difficult time and after securing another buyer for us we are happy to say that the sale went through recently. We are more than happy to highly recommend them as all that a good estate agent should be!

Adrians helped me sell my house and also purchase another, I mainly dealt with Ray, Catherine and Gary although at one point or another I probably spoke with the whole team throughout the 10 months I was attempting to sell my home. I found the service polite and professional, they do not use trickery or pressure tactics unlike other estate agents and you can be guaranteed they pick up the phone when you call. The fee they charge is incredibly reasonable and amongst the lowest you`ll find on the high street. If you want a friendly hassle free sale with no pressure sales or nonsense go with them.

Very professional and friendly office. Gary originally valued my deceased Mothers flat and gave me a lot of good advice regarding the sale. Regrettably I failed to heed the advice and went my own way for the next 6 months. I then returned to Adrians and everything started to move quickly. Gary’s advice was sound and this time I followed it and the sale happened quickly with a buyer who was able to complete the purchase. Communication was excellent. I would 100% recommend Adrians.

After my mother's death I had to sell her bungalow in Chelmsford. I had a couple of estate agents visit and decided to go with Adrians for a number of reasons: experience; knowledge and passion for the area, and the fact that all my questions were answered in a clear and precise way e.g. should all the furniture be left in? Yes, it looks better and makes it easier to sell. I asked the same question of another estate agent and was told, "It's up to you. Some people leave it in, some people take it out" - which was not very helpful. I asked Adrians about commission and was told the exact figure. Asking another estate agent, I was told, "Well, it's negotiable." So, again, very vague. Adrians said that although bungalows traditionally sell to the older person, younger people are now buying them because Chelmsford is an excellent area for commuters.. The other estate agent said that my mother's bungalow would "only sell to an older, retired person." In fact, Adrians sold it to a younger person, still working.... So from the outset I was impressed with Adrians and Gary and his colleagues did an excellent job. The bungalow sold to the first person that saw it and, although there were some stressful moments along the way, mainly due to the length of time that solicitors and red tape took to get probate on my mother's will, which was frustrating for the buyer - who had to be placated by Adrians. - they saw it through to a successful conclusion and the sale went ahead. Throughout, everyone I dealt with was professional, helpful and worked hard to clinch the deal, and if you think that an estate agents work is done once an offer is made on the property, Adrians are proof that this is not the case, as they were there every step of the way to help and advise, right up to the moment that contracts were exchanged and completion was achieved. It was a great help to me, as I was not only selling a property but at the same time dealing with the grief following my mother's death and the emotionally challenging job of sorting out all her possessions. I would certainly recommend Adrians."

My wife and I found that Gary and other members of Adrian's should have title of Second to None, We found that they clearly made sure that as OAPs we needed a little extra time to be aware of all the details however large or small were understood by us both. I had approached two other agency's before I approached Adrian's who by now had been recommended, immediately I witnessed a totally different approach to giving advice on how to sell what is your home. Also we were made aware that the values given by other agency's were not as big a target to aim for and needless to say that the figure set by Gary of 40.000 to 50.000 more was reached by our buyer. To finalise our comments we can only say that Xmas has come early for us and we both would like to thank Gary and other members of Adrian's for all their efforts to come to a very satisfactory conclusion thank you.

As first time buyers we purchased through Adrian's in 2013 and found them to be very efficient and helpful. When it became time to sell and purchase our second home we contacted several agents for free valuations and advice. We found Adrian's to be one of the most competitive in rates as well as being, polite, helpful and genuine. Our sale went very smoothly through them and when our initial purchase fell through as the seller pulled out on us unexpected, Ray had us lined up to look at new properties the next day including some not yet officially on the market and we'd found our home within a week! Amazing service, second to none in the industry

Having just completed the purchase of a house for the first time in 25 years we couldn't have asked for better, more professional estate agent to handle the transaction. The industry has come a long way since we last bought a house and Adrians are a credit to Estate Agents nationally.
