Finding my first home was easy using Reeds Rains. My estate agent, Shelley, was always available to call or email and I always received a fast response from her. Shelley told me all fees needed to pay, meaning that there were no hidden fees or unexpected payments. Through Shelley’s honesty and amazing service we found our home and happily moved in with no trouble. I’d reccomend using Reeds Rains for a hassle free, easy house search. Shelley organised all of our documents in an easy to understand manner, thoroughly explained every step and always answered every question we had. Shelley also followed up with the Landlord and visited our home again before we moved in, in order to ensure that any repairs that we requested were being completed. Overall very satisfied and thankful, very glad we chose Reeds Rains.

Worst experience ever. Do not use reeds Rains if you are looking to rent. They stall and stall in giving you your deposit back. The property management team give you lie after lie and are extremely unprofessional. Handed in my keys 29th August. After nearly 3 months I have only just got my deposit back. I was supposed to get a check out report the day after they dis their checks. Despite contacting them a few times a week. I was always told they will look into it and get back to me. They never did. After 7 weeks of going back and forth from the branch and the property management team, each pointing the finger at each other. They finally get back to me and decided they were going to take £240 to cut the grass, Despite me having email proof from the landlord that he was going to do it. Their response was contest it with deposit protection scheme as its the landlords fault, nothing to do with them. After reluctantly accepting the charge, I then spent another month going back and forth of them saying they would look into it and nothing happening. Fast forward to last week when they finally agree to give me my deposit back (minus the £240 charge for the grass cutting). They then sent me a quote of £498 for cutting the grass (good job i re checked the quote). I had to speak to a manager to get it back down to the original quote as per email they received. In what world does it cost £500 to cut a very small garden. Extremely unprofessional and trying to fleece tenants with huge unjustified charges. I do not recommend reeds rains to anyone. I have had months of stress over this. They do not protect the tenants at all and only care about getting the rent.

Poor service, don't answer phones, don't reply to left messages, don't respond quickly to enquiries. Example a text message sent to me for a viewing both on wrong day and wrong time then confirmed via a incorrect email. I had to inform them of there blunder. Incorrect details on house specifications sheets. No follow up quickly after a viewing for feed back .

I've contacted them about property. They said there is only virtual viewing possible because of corona.. I said that I'm not interested in virtual one, give me normal viewing, so i can see if everything is working properly (window handles, door handles, radiators and floor if it's not squeaking) and they never responded me back.
