Moving home is a very stressful experience with many challenges. Fortunately for my partner and I, dealing with Reeds Rains Castleford was not a challenge at all. They have been amazing for us throughout the process. All of the team were extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with, however I feel a special mention should go to Jack who was our main point of contact. Reeds Rain have been absolutely amazing throughout the whole sale process from our valuation to completion! Whenever we have called the branch, everyone there has helped with our enquiry whether it was something they dealt with or not. In particular, Jack at the Castleford branch has gone above and beyond his job description to help us every step of the way with some otherwise quite stressful challenges. He has liased with every solicitor, sometimes daily, in our chain to ensure our sale has gone through. Doing not only his job but the job of other estate agents in our chain. I can guarantee without his amazing input this sale would have fallen through months ago. Worst agents ever met. The house is totally a mess when we moved in. Quite dirty everywhere. We have to ask for leave to clean the house. The agent promised to find someone to help us clean the kitchen, repair the toilets, clean the carpet and sofa. However, no one shown up till now. We have moved in two weeks. There are no chairs for the kitchen table. We have to stand in the kitchen for each meal. It is ridiculous.

I purchased a property through Reeds Rains Castleford and I have nothing but positive things to say. The overall service from all staff was excellent. All staff on the phone and in person are extremely friendly and approachable. If I required any information or had any request it was dealt with promptly and with no fuss. The estate agent I was allocated was Janine who went above and beyond throughout the purchasing process. Janine was extremely professional and built an excellent rapport with both me and my partner. She kept us updated with any changes and also advised on any areas we were unsure on. Janine was a glowing example of the professionalism that the Castleford branch practice daily. Additionally I used Reed's financial adviser Jon Hanson. After our first meeting with Jon it was clear that he had vast experience of the mortgage market and was very knowledgeable, within 15 minutes of the meeting Jon gave us our most competitive price. I must admit I was reluctant to go with any financial adviser purely because of the extra price for the service, despite Jon's price been very competitive. However within just a couple of days the price we paid was worth it as Jon, like Janine, went above and beyond with his level of service. Jon was in constant contact via email and phone which I thought was key when dealing with an area (mortgages) most people are overwhelmed by. My current mortgage and new mortgage provider threw quite a few hurdles in front of Jon but he cleared them seamlessly. I would strongly recommend Reed Rains Castleford to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a property and I would strongly recommend Jon's services to coincide with an overall excellent service.

I have never sold a house before so it was a very daunting prospect. I contacted Reeds Rains in Castleford and made an appointment for a valuation to be done. I met with Rebecca Walker who went through everything I needed to know, she gave me a valuation for th property and explained the process and costs. The property wasn't on the market very long before an appointment for a viewing, an offer was made and accepted. Kim Harris was my contact once the property went on the market. Kim was in regular contact with me informing me of how the sale was progressing, this was very reassuring. I would recommend Reeds Rains to anyone who wants to sell their property, the customer service is superb there wasn't any time that I felt I wasn't kept informed.
