Booked to view a property in bradley stoke by someone called Joe. He rang in the morning to confirm, we went for our viewing for no one to turn up for at least 10 - 15 minutes late, then he didn't have the keys and had no idea how to get in and said his phone doesn't work. He then walked off after cancelling our viewing, soon after another couple turned up to view the property and they were there to meet the same agent who they called to come straight back, he came back and give the same excuses to the next couple

Didn’t chase the landlord up for a response regarding our deposit until he finally responded 2 days before the deadline for us to counter the decision. The response included arbitrary costs with no receipts or quotes attached, no proof the damage had been taken place and we had very little time to counter these costs because he’d responded so late which lost us hundreds of pounds. They wouldn’t fix anything whilst we were there including when the fridge freezer broke as it wasn’t deemed essential. Absolute farcical service and I’d never recommend letting with them.

In terms of rentals, they see landlords as their clients and tenants as their product. Did nothing to fix our property then attempted to take our deposit to pay for damages. Happened to the person before us who had such a bad experience they reached out to us during our tenancy. Taylors even passed on fake invoices as part of this. As a tenant exercise extreme caution as they will abet the landlord in taking your deposit if and when asked.

This is my second time to find a place via Taylors. Back a year ago, when I first came to Cardiff, Taylors is the first and quickest agent that reply to me within 2 days. However, I did not rent any house via them. But a month later, they gave me a ring and asked me whether I still want to rent that house. I would say this is not a UK style(You guys may know what I mean, lol) A year later, I have sent a couple of emails via Rightmove. This time, Taylors is still the fastest agency that responds to me. Their staff are responsive, kind, on time. They don't waste your time, straight forward. After viewing and decided to rent the flat. their staff even gave me a call on Friday to say that she will be on leave for three days, how they respect their client! So that I won't be worried about my renting process. If you want to rent or buy a property, just go for Taylors. Maria would always send me an email when new flats come up and would always make sure they were in our price range with the qualities we were looking for. Taylors sold us a house in Grangetown at the start of the year and subsequently secured a letting on the property for us following a refurb. Their sales team were extremely professional and diligent and nothing was any trouble throughout the purchase. They managed to find suitable tenants even during a global pandemic and lockdown, kept in regular contact, offered good advice and made the whole process really easy.
