GoogleImportant advice: when you let a flat please make sure you take every possible picture of the flat especially the cleaness. You will need these evidences when you check out.
My personal experience, which could be subjective, I received the flat professionally clean but some aspects was not professionally clean such as the oven and the CARPETS. I had to get the carpet cleaned after few months of moving in as it was very unclean. When I checked out I got the flat professionally cleaned by a company and MGY didn't like it and deducted 150 GBP from my deposit!! just for re-cleaning and doing the carpet.
This is my point of view (as they have there's, but hopefully it's not like their fakes reviews in Google maps made by the staffs like Wendy Button and Sian Thomas. That's so funny even the owner reply to them as their were real customers lol)

Majed, further to your recent Google review on MGY we would like to respond as follows:-
When you moved into the apartment you were provided with a detailed schedule of condition and inventory which noted the property had been professionally cleaned prior to the commencement of your tenancy. Upon the checkout the property was not found to be in a comparable condition cleanliness wise and we gave you the option for your cleaners to return although no invoice was provided to us as proof that a professional clean had been carried out. As you will no doubt be aware we have gone over and above with our service to you i.e. when you locked yourself out and also delivering a parcel to your new address so we feel your comments are unfair and not justified.
To clarify Wendy Button has not worked for MGY since the beginning of this year and we did indeed sell a property for her during the Summer so her review is 100% genuine. We also have a Sian Thomas working for us but this is not the same person who has left a review so that is not a fake review as you imply.
The matter with regards to your Bond has now been referred to the TDS who will adjudicate the outcome which is the correct procedure in this situation. Regards -mgy-

GoogleJust left my tenancy at an MGY managed property. The agents were very responsive & helpful with any queries or issues we had, although the property was in a very good state from move in so very little help was needed.
When the end of our tenancy came, the procedure for leaving was made very clear and our deposit was dealt with fairly - very few deductions made & those that were made were fair and priced in line with what the fixes would cost.

I was shown comparisons of sale prices of similar properties in the area which helped achieve a realistic asking price. After "open house" viewings, I was given feedback on who had viewed and their position to buy. My property sold within 4 days at a price I was extremely happy with, and the sale completed within 7 weeks! Many thanks to the Cardiff Bay team for all their help!
