I moved to Darlows after failed attempts with another estate agent. The number of interested parties I had by moving the property sale to Darlows multiplied by 10. and within days a sale had been agreed. The Service I had from Darlows was exceptional. Far better than I had hoped. The whole team, especially Stephanie who dealt with my property had exceptional professionalism and went above and beyond to do what ever they could to aid the sale process. If I ever sell a property again. I would 100% use Darlows . I can not thank them enough for there efforts.

I’ve have always dealt with Hannah from the start and she has been amazing always willing to help and act fast never wastes anytime and is very efficient in what she does! I must say this is the best experience I’ve had with an estate agent I know Darlows is the best and that’s why I chose them! So so is the Staff there I have dealt with Steph on a few occasions she has also been really good whenever I have spoken to her! They are amazing!

I am an investor and spoke to Harry Diamond recently and he was extremely helpful. I've noticed many agents don't ring anymore and he took the initiative to ring and let me know promptly about property that met my requirements exactly. He listened carefully which is very refreshing and was keen to know exactly what I was looking to buy. His style is not pushy and over the top sales, he really is focussed on building relationships with buyers which I am sure will benefit his company from repeat custom in the future. I was pleased to find a company that will work harder for their sellers by looking after their buyers.

I used Darlows to sell my property recently, they were AMAZING!!!! Jodie and Amber came fully prepared on my area and property and were very positive and enthusiastic! Which is just what you want to be able to trust selling your home. I knew they'd be great, after meeting a few agents they were the only ones to take pictures incase I wanted to use them to list it. They called the next day which some may see as pushy but I saw and loved how efficient they clearly were and it only encouraged me more to use them. I knew from this they'd get viewings in the door, be determined and enthusiastically sell and get offers flowing. And no doubt they did! I sold within 3 weeks and even through the sale they were on the tail of my solicitor and the buyers solicitor, when both me and the buyer were frustrated at our solicitors for the delays, they chased and chased for us and acted as the middle-women which is beyond what I ever expected and completely helped through the entire process They were always on hand for any questions or updates throughout. I appreciate all the work they did and I would recommend them to anyone! And certainly will be using them again!!

Very helpful Estate Agents. Having had nightmare dealings with another Lettings Agent prior to putting my flat up for sale I was reluctant to switch over to the same Sales team. One chance phone call to Darlows made me feel much more positive about everything. Jodie was very encouraging about putting the flat up for sale and was proved right when it sold 5 weeks later. I've been very pleased with whole team at Darlows, there has been no chasing around trying to get hold of people, no non returned calls etc, a vast improvement on the previous company ! I'd like to thank everyone at Darlows for their help in the last few months and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property .

My experience of selling my house was made a lot easier because of Darlows especially Harry. They were always so patient and understanding and never put any pressure on us to do anything. Even though we had a nightmare with the solicitors, harry was able to communicate with us in a way which made things easier, he was very helpful and understanding with any queries or worries we had. And dealt with any problems we had quickly and efficiently. If I was to sell my house again I would definitely go with them and I 100% recommend them to anyone.

Recently had an issue accessing my bank account, which was stressful to say the least. The representative from Darlows I spoke to was Joe Bartlett. He couldn't have been more helpful, which given the situation I found myself in was most welcome. He contacted me directly and reassured me and went out of his way to ring me well after hours on a Friday to say everything was sorted. Very helpful and much appreciated, particularly when it was a problem I wasn't expecting!

Our dealings with Darlows , in spite of the fact that the deal eventually didn't work out, were smooth and pleasurable, not words you can normally use in the same sentence as 'estate agent'. Amber Bishop, the salesperson was understanding, helpful and cordial. She appeared to appreciate exactly what we were looking for doing her utmost to facilate our purchase. She kept us informed of progress and worked hard at getting the information and assurances that we needed from the vendor. These were eventually not forthcoming and, when we said that we were withdrawing our offer, she was able to see our point of view even though it must have been a disapointment for her, as it was for us. Of all the estate agents that we have dealt with in the Cardiff area Darlows, in the person of Amber, were the only ones who appeared to have a real interest in our custom and we will definately return there for any further sales or purchases.

Possibly the worst estate agent we have…

Possibly the worst estate agent we have ever had the misfortune to deal with. We bought a property with Darlows and the service was dismal from start to finish. Phone calls frequently not returned, emails often unanswered, promises broken and inaccurate or misleading information provided about the property purchased. Eventually we had to ask local residents for the information we required. Their Llanishen branch was often closed and I was not the only one to decide to drive to the branch after days of trying to get hold of someone. The office was closed when I got there but another lady was banging the door in frustration at not being able to get hold of anyone for weeks on end, hoping someone would come down from upstairs. When they did I found the property we were purchasing still advertised for sale inside, months after having our offer accepted. We both left urgent messages to be contacted but still no one got in touch with me. Staff need better training and customer service needs serious attention.

Darlows Merthyr Tydfil are liars and ignorant! I reserved a plot at St Tydfils Grove, in October 2021, in fact 2 years today! Anyway, there were a succession of delays, plus a mysterious succession of project managers, of whom the INITIAL contact was good, however it became aparent very quickly, that along with the delayed scheduled building work, that also I was being completely ignored, as they don't answer the phone when they see your number on the office phone, then it would be transferred to their parent company, Spicehaart. But even they were very slow for about a year, as the constantly different telephonists took my complaint, which was laborious in the end, as they didn't seem to have a clue about ALL my previous telephone calls/emails. However, luckily for me, but unluckily for them, I keep digital notes of EVERYTHING, even the name, date and time of my conversation. Anyway, in the end I had to start a complaints file with Resolver, in which I attached the vast majority of of my countless emails, plus digital notes of all the times I have phoned to complain, plus the transcripts of the Live Chat conversation I had on the Darlows Merthyr Tydfil website, in which they were obstructive, trying to make out they didn't know who was the Branch Managers Superior was, until I said I was including them in my complaint also. I done this on a Sunday afternoon, and surprise, surprise, the ignorant manager at Merthyr Tydfil Darlows, was trying to ring me first thing on Monday morning, plus he'd sent me an email straight after with an attached Reservation Refund Form. I had emailed him 3 days previous, which was a massive email of me complaining about him lying to me, when he told on a telephone call on the 6th December, 2022, that the solicitors will have everything sorted by the beginning of January(2023). Then no contact whatsoever, until I emailed the Branch manager on 29th June 2023, which again he ignored! And I know if I hadn't started a complaints procedure via Resolver, which I have to say was a very easy and simple process. Funnily enough, after completing and returning the refund form, yes, you've guessed it, complete SILENCE! Anyway, I had to go back to Spicehaart, and luckily, a Mathew initially, then Claire, Finally got me my refund! It was just short of 2 years after paying it! I didn't give surnames, but suffice it to say they are very high up at Spicehaart! There is a reason why Darlows Merthyr Tydfil only have 41% ONE STAR REVIEWS on Trustpilot. I cannot speak for other branches, as I've never used them. And I didn't choose Darlows Merthyr, I chose St Tydfils Grove, which unfortunately they were the estate agents. P. S. The date assigned for when this all started is incorrect, as it only let's you go back twelve months previous, it was actually 14th October 2021, not 2022.
