I had a positive experience at Darlow’s estate agents, Albany Road. Hannah and Jodie were very helpful throughout the process and would deal with my queries quickly and efficiently. If they were out at a viewing their colleague Harry would always do his best to help and pass messages onto them, which they responded to promptly. Since the purchase went through I had a problem with the vacant flats above and below mine. The smoke alarms needed their batteries changing. Hannah was quick to come round and help me change them the same day. Hannah has assured me that she will continue to help with any flat related issues I might face in the future and I would be happy to recommend this branch of Darlow’s.

Amazing team at Darlows. I was selling my house from over seas which added extra stress on me but Jodie and Sarah kept me as calm as they could throughout and were so good at keeping me updated with things as they happened. They were both so friendly and so quick at getting back to my emails. Towards the end of the selling process Sarah (Bracey) went above and beyond getting last minute things sorted out for me. Nothing ever seemed to much trouble to her and I can't really put in to words how much I appreciated her. If I were to ever return to the UK I will 100% use Darlows as my agent and can strongly recommend them to others.

The team were amazing, I needed to sell my flat quickly to secure a purchase. Hannah Moss came out the next day the property went online and I sold in four days to someone on their list looking in the area. At all times Hannah and Jodie were really helpful and were always at the end of the phone to answer and questions. People moan about having to pay estate agent fees but they deserved every penny and worked on the sale through to completion. Thank you for all your help and making a stressful situation a little less stressful.

My wife and I recently bought a property through Darlows Estate Agents, Albany Road Branch. I mainly always spoke to Jodie and Hannah during the purchase process. I use to always call Jodie to follow up on where we were with the purchase. She would always come back to me very promptly. She was always helpful in following up matters for us. So was Hannah. The branch has a very good team who care very much about customer service. On occasions, I spoke to other staff who always made sure that either Jodie or Hannah called me back. I am very impressed by their professionalism and I cant say enough about how helpful they were to me. I would like to thank them very much for everything. Thank you.

Appealing behaviour. Signed up approx 4 weeks ago to move into a larger rented property due to my partner being 5 months pregnant. Obviously with everything going on with the Coronavirus and my partner now 6 months pregnant I contacted Darlows to ask if possible we could delay the move because there is absolutely no way I can move the entire contents of 1 house out to another house alone..not only that I could not find a van rental company and even if I did I would be putting my pregnant other half at serious risk.I spoke to Darlows - won’t name names, told them of my issues and straight away the conversation was “ absolutely no chance can we delay the move... either bring it forward or keep to the date agreed” I said to the person on the phone that surely is the landlords decision and not yours and would appreciate it if you could call them to explain ... I may we’ll be a cynical person but I have had absolutely no faith that that conversation between Darlows and the landlord even happened.We had a call back - eventually , and that we was told the landlord said no we need to stick with the date and that if we do not move we will lose the fee’s we have currently paid ( even though we never once brought up the fees this was clearly used as a very poor tactic to try to keep the house move on the scheduled date )Again we explained and again we got told the same - NOI rang a guy in head office the next day who after explaining things to him said himself that he totally understood our situation and wouldn’t expect us to move either ( feel free to listen to the phone conversation) - he arranged a call back from the Lettings manager who called me back - conversation went the same - he said he would ask but Darlows was the middle man in all this and it’s totally out of their hands ( obviously)After another call we agreed to knock it all on the head - cancel the move and stay put because with the entire world at a standstill at very dangerous times , plus the fact it was totally impossible for the move to happen , we found it totally impossible for it to happen without putting the family at risk .The reason for this review today is largely down to a gutless email we received. Not a phone call, but an email stating that we will lose the £132 fee we have put down. How is it you justify keeping hold of this fee? What has this fee gone towards?The entire country is in lockdown, and with wages every penny counts, especially a family of 4 during these times and you won’t bother to refund us the fee’s - so I’m guessing you contacted a director like you said and it was he/she who said no to this request? Shame on you.

Darlows Pontypridd - Great Team

Diane and the team in the Pontypridd branch were great when dealing with 2 properties I was selling at the same time. I dealt with both Gayle and on occasion Courtney both of whom were great. Always returning calls and keeping me informed during the selling process. Diane was particularly active in one of the sales due to the buyer and his solicitor dragging their feet as it was a development property. Thanks to Diane's tenacity we finally got over the line. Great job from the team and I highly recommend them.

Contacted Nicole mid week as I had a buy to let purchase was completing on the Friday, Nicole had viewings arranged for the following Monday, by close of business Monday Nicole rang me to confirm she had a tenant very interested in the property and ready to go if I was happy :) needless to say I was, Nicole kept me up to date through out, did all the work for me and made it super easy for me, something that I needed due to being busy myself someone to pick it up and make it seamless for me and my tenant, and thats what Nicole did. We recently dealt with Claire Lea at the Darlows Caerphilly office, they were the last estate agent to come to our home and we almost cancelled the appointment as we had already made our decision to go with someone else, Claire Lea came in and changed our minds with ease, she gave off such good profession and confidence with no pressure at all.Before she even got back to the office we called up and decided to go with Darlows - yes they cost more, but after dealing with them we now know why.Claire was always actively working on getting our house out there and sold and we were updated daily by either Claire or a colleague - 14 days later we had an offer we were happy with and accepted! Thanks to Claire and Darlows Caerphilly we will now be receiving more money from the sale of our property than we would have if we had gone with any other agent even thought their fees were cheaper than Darlows. We couldn't be happier with the w Claire and Darlows handled our house sale and we would happily use them again and will always recommend their services, Claire in particular.Thank Darlows.
