Darlows have been really bad at updating us on the status of our application for the rental of a flat. It has been nearly two weeks since we filled the offer document and we have not heard anything; they are impossible to get a hold of and despite leaving many message with their concierge service, they have not called me back. When we decided to put our house on the market I had meetings with a few different estate agents and also contacted some online agents, I chose Darlows as the gave me the most positive feel about marketing our house as when I put it on the market I wanted to ensure it was done properly the 1st time as didn’t want to change agents or have it on the market for a long period.With the online agents I didn’t feel very confident upon meeting as they didn’t seem to want to give such a careful approach to getting the photos completed and marketing the property as I wished (obviously you get what you pay for). When I meet with Jodie from Darlows she gave me a great deal of confidence in marketing our property and it was an easy choice to choose Darlows. We were happy with the process from start to finish, lots of care was taken with photographs, we decided on an open house as this fitted around family life well this also worked out better than expected with us achieving more than anticipated.We would definitely choose Darlows again and I would recommend them 100 per cent.

Just purchased our first house from Darlows Albany road. I found them helpful and professional from start to finish, everything ran smoothly and they kept in regular contact with our solicitor. We even received a call from the branch manager on the day of completion to congratulate us even though she was working at a different branch and a new home card from the staff at the Albany road. We have found Darlows to be efficient and extremely helpful right from the initial visit. We have had good lettings advice and they have kept up communication between us and the tenant. We found Sam McAllister to be so polite and friendly when we had a query the other day, he promptly phoned and asked how everything was going. The company staff seem to communicate with each other very well and messages always get where they’re supposed to go.

The worst estate agents in Britain. No communication, no feedback, used their in house solicitors to do the conveyancing which took nearly 6 months in a transaction with cash buyers and no chain. But the worst bit of all was the avoidance of phonecalls by the manager Tim who failed to tell me that the purchasers had withdrawn 10 days previous to me being informed, and I was only informed then because I rang them and demanded an update. Avoid at all costs

DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY - They are a fraud company that had caused ALOT of stress. They gave us the property in a bad condition, then after we left made claims over over £1,000 claiming that we had left a lot of damage. Save your money - honestly. They have no interest in agreeing anything or discussing things with the tenant. They also gave us a dishwasher that was almost broken down, it was so disgusting it was falling a part from the inside. They did not properly de-weed the property before they gave to us then tried to charge us for it knowing we could not return it without any weeds. It's been the absolute worst experience in my life.

Fantastic!Michael and Trystram gave us an awsome service and a great experience in letting properties. I did originally have a complaint regarding there about an in house independent mortgage guy. This has been dealt with and it was down to miscommunication. However the customer service person I spoke to was rude when dealing with me. I was helping my a daughter at the time. The customer service women said 'maybe your daughter should stand on her own two feet'. I recommend you go elsewhere for your property needs if you want a professional service.
