Efficient Deposit Resolution

Gareth Coleman has been great throughout resolving a deposit dispute on a large HMO with 7 tenants. The tenants were particularly challenging but Gareth persisted & acted professionally, keeping me in the loops through every stage of the process.Managed to come to a reasonable amicable conclusions without having to escalate to the TDS.Gareth is an asset to the property management team.

Tristram gave us sound, practical advice to us as first time landlords and Emma was efficient when the tenants were found. Communication has been good considering the trying times we are in. We particularly like the emails that re iterate what has been discussed on the phone so that we have a record of events. Tayah has been pleasant and efficient.

My sale of my mother’s flat started really well. Harry from Albany Rd, Darrow’s, came to the flat, gave us a price. It went on the market very quickly, and an offer was made a few weeks later. Through no fault of Darrow’s, the sale took nearly 6 months to complete. Harry and the staff of Darrow’s chased the solicitors from both sides, but it still took a long time. Darlows done their best ,they were friendly and professional 👍👍👍👍

We have just bought our first home through Darlows and were really pleased with their service from start to finish. Hannah showed us around several properties and was always very knowledgeable and helpful with our queries, giving us plenty of time and space to look around, she was enthusiastic without being pushy, which made us feel very comfortable when we eventually decided to buy our home through Darlows. Throughout the process Hannah and Jodie in the office were both really helpful, communicating clearly and regularly, and liaising with the vendor and everyone else involved so we all knew what was going on. It really helped me keep on top of my stress levels!

AVOID AVOiD AVOID StaY away from these cowboys if you are a landlord. Even if you pay the fee they will withold rent and refuse to issue notices to tenants. Leaving you with arrears. THeY REFUSE to answer your emails and are incompetent in their knowledge. Basically you will end up having to manage the tenancy yourself. They just pass you from one oerson to another and do not act in your interests. the property ombudsnan and rent smart will be keen to investigate their unscrupulous agent behaviour. I suggest you all report them where you have had this experience. Oh and another thing they wont answer your question but will use a friday to send a random email that needs some queries answered like we suggest you renew a tenancy with them or you will be left vulnerable !!! The offices are not open on weekend for you to sort this out . They will not act in your best interests. So disappointing as when they want your business thry are skilled at appearing to be nice. Can a manager contact me to resolve the catalogue of bad experience with you.?

I recently sold my property through a more reputable agent. Since my house has been on the market and sold I have been bombarded with unwanted phone calls from Darlows. I’ve asked on three of these occasions to remove me from their call list and have been told they would do this, yet I continue to get calls. I’ve asked how they obtained my mobile phone number and was told I must have supplied it on their website. I’ve never been on their website. I have reported the GDPR breaches. I would not recommend this business as they clearly throw personal information around and can’t perform simple tasks. Very poor.

It has been nearly two weeks since we filled the offer document and we have not heard anything; they are impossible to get a hold of and despite leaving many message with their concierge service, they have not called me back.
