They are unable to do a simple house viewing..... After the viewing appointment was confirmed twice they didn't show up at the house when we called them we were told the agent is on his way to the house ..... Guess what after half an hour still nothing 😂 after two phone calls turned out the first agent was lieing because no one was coming.... I guess it is a LITTLE BIT unprofessional.... Thanks for nothing.Keep up the good work 😉

GoogleShameful and shocking customer service that doesn’t deserve even a 1 star rating. We’re stuck in a rental property that was dirty when we moved in and that hasn’t had hot water or central heating ever since we arrived. No one at Darlows has been prepared to help us or work with us to improve the situation even when repeatedly told that our baby is suffering in a cold house without hot water. Avoid this estate agent at all costs, do not rent with Darlows - especially the Albany Road branch.

We were interested in purchasing a house through the Rumney branch. However, during the initial viewing, the individual showing us the property came across as condescending and lacked knowledge about the property. Despite making an offer, we experienced weeks of being misled with little to no communication. We were passed from agent to agent, only to be informed in the end that they had chosen another buyer who supposedly was "better suited", despite their offer being lower than ours. We are hardworking, earnest individuals with excellent credit scores and are not part of a chain. I think they have been very unprofessional and potentially even biast. Disgraceful!!!

If I could score them a zero I would .been renting with the Albany rd branch for just over a year,they are wholly incompetent liars and their customer service is nothing short of shocking.Never answer phones don't respond to voicemail s or emails ! God help you if you need any repairs carrying out.AVOID

My brother and I rented a 2 bed flat through Darlows for approximately one and a half years. The company were helpful, ensuring a easy move in. When the time came for us move out of the property I have to say Sam McAllister was extremely helpful. Whilst completing the end of tenancy inspection he was very friendly and informative explaining the process, which areas usually affect the tenants deposits, and which areas are usually a concern for the landlord. Sam continued to demonstrate utmost level of customer care by phoning and updating me personally on the status of my 'check out' and when I should expect to get my deposit back. I honestly couldn't sing the mans praises enough

This company is absolutely useless !! We have been renting with darlows for just under a year when we originally put the offer in on the property it was on the grounds that it would be painted cleaned and all the nails and holes in the wall would be replaced/ repaired BEFORE WE MOVED IN as it was in a pretty bad state from the people before. instead of them getting this sorted before we moved in the day we picked up the keys we was told it had not been done yet, a year later they are asking us to sign for another year which there’s not a chance in hell I would do! It’s been a year and I have asked for an inventory several times as it is a legal document required for liability, every time I have tried to ask I have been ignored and they had the cheek to tell me next years rent will be going up the way this place is managed is horrific as soon as you have put ur deposit down and paid first month rent you will be ignored and left to your own devices. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone honestly

Moving into a new house is never a simple affair and we did have some minor issues at the start of the tenancy (totally expected and normal), however, the team at Darlows have been very efficient in helping us to the best of their ability. Namely Sam Mcallister & his colleague Zara have been very good at helping us deal with any problems we've had so far. As a younger couple it certainly feels like the first time our concerns have been seriously addressed.

GoogleWe worked mainly with Estate Agent Harry Watson-James who showed us around several properties across Cardiff. He is professional, informative and kept us updated on proceedings at regular intervals. In addition, Harry introduced us to our mortgage broker at Just Mortgages (also based at the Albany Road branch of Darlows) which made everything much easier and joined-up. Access for trade quotes/ estimates for work have also been arranged while the sale is in progress. Highly recommended. Thank you
