The team at Your Move Hinckley have provided a thoroughly professional service during my first year and first time as a landlord renting my house. They were always able to find several potential tenants, keeping me informed of suitability.Any concerns I've had during the initial set up and throughout the first year of tenancy were addressed with a calm, friendly and experienced approach, excellent customer service. A Fully Managed Service is expensive but offers more peace of mind. Many thanks to the Hinckley branch

Me and my partner had a difficult time recently after only living in our previous property for 10 months and our landlord at the time wanting to sell we suddenly became under pressure with a busy work schedule to find a new home. We found a property up for let with your move and from the get go it was so easy and efficient. I cannot sing the colleagues praises enough for how helpful and considerate they were from viewing the property right up to moving day! We just bought our first house!We could not be happier, the whole process, as terrifying as it was, have been explained to us and done on the background as smooth as possible, as well as very transparent. We were super anxious, asking millions of questions and getting answers back where we just couldn't believe. Since day one, everything was just going smoothly, contacts, documentation, offer and contracts, I could not believe when they told me a month ago, congratulations, all you need to do now is buy stuff for your house, we will do everything from now on. I could not believe but here I am today, grabbing my keys on the date it was agreed when I visited the house for the first time. We are delighted with the service and I can't thank Your-Move team enough.

George McKillen was quite persistent(albeit in a very courteous way) in keeping in touch with us since we first began to consider selling our home and when we decided to proceed he paid great heed to what we wanted to achieve. His advice was sound, the sale particulars were very well crafted and we achieved the outcome we wanted within a week of or property going on the market.

I must admit that it has been a pleasure knowing and dealing with Gemma and the staff at Chapeltown branch. I have a property that was let through Your move and it was managed very well, but for personal reasons, I decided to sell it through them. Gemma has guided me and made the transition from letting to selling very easy and in a professional manner. She went above and beyond to help keeping me informed and doing a very diligent job. It was a real pleasure dealing with her and I have no hesitation in recommending the Chapeltown branch for managing, letting or selling your property.A big thank you to all at Chapeltown 😊

My partner and myself have been house hunting for a while. With every rejected offer the ladies at the office were so empathetic, and sounded genuinely gutted for us. They were over the moon when they rang about a house we previously put on offer on going through with us! They knew exactly who we were when we came in to sign papers and talked about how happy they were for us. The service is exceptional and we have been kept in constant contact. A family member committed to rent a property from ‘your move’ , paid the deposit , successfully went through credit checks , signed the agreement, gave notice at her existing property, packed …. 2 weeks before her move date she is told that the landlord is pulling out! Absolutely shocking . She and her three children could be homeless by the end of the month . In this case I would expect an organisation as big as Your Move to have a process in place to ensure the Lanlord by this point has signed the contract so at least there is a document that has legally bound him/her to the rental agreement . **since this review , I have spoken to the agency and they have reassured me that they will review their process to prevent this type of situation in the future. The agent that was helping as an individual really went out of their way to help and rectify the issue . Unfortunately the fundamentals of the letting process (and of course a rogue landlord) let this family down**

In February 2021 I asked Your Move as well as other estate agents to value my previous home in preparation for sale.Elliott Marsham, the Goole branch manager, came complete with printed graphs and numbers showing how they sold the most houses in the quickest time, which I wasn't interested too much in as I realise there's a lot more to selling a house and working with a professional is key.. Anyone can value a house at a low figure for it to sell quickly.I had three other estate agents who all valued my house at £320k - £325k. Elliot valued my home at £225!!! If I agreed to sell my home with Your Move at that price, of course, it would have sold quickly!!Once Elliot realised I wasn't happy with his valuation he became quite threatening, telling me he does the bank valuations in the area so even if I went with one of the other estate agents who valued my home at a much higher amount he would devalue it to the £225k which obviously caused some anxiety so I called the other estate agents and asked if they knew Elliot to do valuations for the bank which they didn't. They had never heard of Elliot Marsham but did tell me the companies who they do work with who would potentially do the valuations.Elliot also made comments about how I may struggle to sell and asked.. 'did you have problems getting insurance on this property?' which I said no to because I never struggled to get insurance. He told me that because I lived near a couple of shops/fish and chip shop that the future home owners may struggle to get home insurance. After I told him I never had problems getting insurance he told me that insurance companies had brought out new rules since I bought my home, 3 years previous to deciding to sell..As far as I am aware, the current home owners had absolutely no problem getting home insurance 😑I, a young female was home alone whilst my partner was at work when Elliot came to value my house and I wonder whether he would have acted differently if my partner was home..As well as the above, Elliot wasn't that professional, he made plenty of unnecessary comments about other estate agents and I didn't appreciate his over confident attitude. Regardless of the 100k Elliot devalued my house at I wouldn't have chosen Your Move based on his attitude alone.I would also like to make extremely clear that I sold my house for the asking price of £325k within 3 hours of it being on rightmove.At the same time of selling my previous home I viewed homes sold in the York area by Your Move and had a completely different experience with Scott Anscomb who did the viewings. He was lovely and very professional.I also do not appreciate my last review being removed. A company should take all critism and learn from their mistakes. I will keep reposting.Thanks.

Exceptional service from Katherine can not thank her enough she is super amazing and nothing is a problem to her. She deserves a medal for putting up with her us. She made it a pleasant experience and helped us with everything even sorted out parking for us at a property with no parking. She is a total asset to the company and such a pleasure to have met her.
