Chester Le Street branch review

Overall very positive experience as a tenant with the Chester Le Street branch. They were very friendly and professional in answering all of my queries and problems and really helped me settle into the North East following a move from down south. My only point of improvement would be to maybe handle some of the issues I had a little bit quicker, but everything that needed sorting got sorted so I can't have too many complaints on that front.

I have give a 1 as I can't give a 0, I have just helped my daughter find her first house to buy after going through several different estate agents due to been outbid all were professional and fair and she is now in the process of exchanging contacts, (Not with your move) at the same time we have been looking for my son to purchase his first property with his partner and daughter, we found a property on hamil Road stoke on trent, we were the first people to view, spoke to the owner she told me she had a few more viewings and she just wanted the highest offer. We rang your move straight away and put a higher offer In, they said we need to speak to there mortgage advisor, we wernt sure what for has we had there mortgage in principle and a contact number for there advisor, who has all evidence of deposits , etc... so the next day they spoke with a guy and explained if this was in regards to giving them a mortgage they wernt interested has they already had there mortgage and deal in place, he advised that his manager likes to keep there sales in house, so if we didn't want a quote he needed to speak to the other 3 offers to see if anyone was interested in taking a mortgage with them..When we spoke to the estate agent again and explained it is unfair if we have one of the highest offers but miss out on our purchase just because we dont go with your mortgage advisor, she said he shouldn't of said that as it didn't work like this..We received a phone call earlier to say they had decided not to go with us even though we had highest offer (maybe with others) as the other couple had a higher deposit.. Firstly as first time buyers we have been discriminated against because we didn't have huge savings, also they didn't know once our mortgage goes through how much deposit we are ending up putting down, the whole process is unfair and should be looked at and not allowed.. Every estate agent we have dealt with in staffordshire has been purely on the highest offer, if more than one then understably it was the sellers choice on who had the most convenient circumstances ie like my son no chain, mortgage ready to go.I strongly advice not to use this estate agent for buying a house as there processes are unfair and if I'm honest seems all for greed. They don't appear to be working for the person they are selling the house for, but purely for there selves.. we do have a few houses to view now beginning of next week and I know we will find one, but I also know we are not viewing any more properties with your move, and would advise anyone the same

Amazing staff at YM South sea

I purchased a buy to let in 2013 and enlisted South sea Lettings to fully manage the property as I live abroad.Over the past 9 years Your Move has given me peace of mind that the property is being cared for, In particular I would like to mention Maureen Whittle who has always gone above and beyond what I believe would be in her job description.She is my constant source of information regarding the property and offers guidance regarding repairs and renovations that are insightful thanks to her experience in the Lettings property market. Can’t speak highly enough of Your Move West Denton …

I cannot speak highly enough of Your Move West Denton. I was surprised at just how much work is involved in selling a house these days. From my first meeting with Tim at the property where my options and each stage of the process were clearly explained I felt I was in good hands. Your Move were slightly cheaper than two other well known estate agents I had considered and it is only fair to point out they were also very impressive. I believe I made the right choice in the end, which I have to say was not based on price. Each stage went to plan and being able to leave the keys with the agent to handle all the viewings was a great help. I was kept informed throughout and although I dealt with a number of personnel in the office all were strong performers; very helpful, attentive and professional. Although it was a professional service, bought and paid for, I still feel a strong sense of indebtedness, hence my highest commendation.

Honest, Friendly, Professional Service from start to finish…

I have used Your Move at west Denton now for over 12 years & each sale/purchase has been very smooth. The staff are lovely & always happy to help. They always get back to you when they say they will & super efficient with correspondence. A lot of companies now are keen to take your money & then the service level drops, this is definitely not the case with Your Move West Denton. Would highly recommend this branch if you are selling or purchasing.

Buying or selling a property use Your Move

I have recently had to put my Mum’s house up for sale after she sadly passed away, this is my first experience of selling a house & Your Move have been very helpful during the process there has been no pressure from anyone only helpful advice. Joe the branch manager came to value the house at a time that was convenient to us, he gave us a very fair valuation & talked us through the selling process including the costs of selling. After deciding to use Your Move & completing the paperwork the house has only being on the market for a couple of days & I was contacted to let me know that there had been 2 equal bids on the house & did we want to move to final purchase price, the house has now been sold subject to contract, I cannot thank Your Move enough.
