Disappointing Service

We had to move out of our rented property and the admin team were super unhelpful. They wouldn't communicate and when you would get a hold of them they'd make it seem that you had no right to ask for information. I do have to say that one of the agents Chantae was great and helped where she could.

Gillinghamham branch have just sold my…

Gillinghamham branch have just sold my house. The communication was non existent from the start. I have asked several times for call back when I have a question and hardly get one. I have yet again phoned at 12 o'clock on the 26th August spoke to a lady who told me Mason was on a call , she said that he will be back before the end of day and will ring me. I rung back at 16:30 only to find the branch is shut and I am left to stew until Tuesday. I have had no feedback from any viewings . The service from the gillingham branch is appalling and I would never recommend or use your move again.

Emily - Canterbury Your Move

I've been with Your Move for over a year now, and just moved into a second student property. The first one was rather horrendous, admittedly, but this year the house is (almost!) perfect. However, regardless of house issues, or otherwise, we have been managed by Emily Smythe at the Canterbury branch, and I couldn't fault her at all! She is absolutely wonderful, and always available to help us with any queries or issues we may have! She also goes out of her way to check that everything is okay, especially after our disappointing first property - which is really lovely. Emily is also one of the few people we have interacted with through agencies that does not treat us as anything but normal adults, despite being students, which is really refreshing!

Brilliant estate agents

After over a year and a half of my house being on and off the market with a no names mentioned strangely “popular” online estate agent, I was ready to give up all together with getting my house sold! Having been passed from pillar to post, left with a bill and my house still on the market I needed a new estate agent asap. I had dealt with Andrew on a few times whilst house searching my self. I decided to part ways with said online estate agent and contacted Andrew for the sale of my own home. The property is a shared ownership and most estate agencies are very reluctant to help out but Andrew was great, viewing started quickly and an offer soon came in with in a few weeks. Really understanding of the process and has supported me through out one of the most stressful times I’ve ever had. Your move has assisted me with so many things during this process, one of which was changing solicitors, chasing for updates and communicating back to me just for an update even if it were to say there was no update! But it’s that communication and constantly being in the loop from both buyer and seller side that I commend Andrew and the Your move team for. Karen is also so lovely and super helpful! Not that I want to anytime soon but if I had to sell up again I’ll be contacting them for sure! Thank you so much!

Mark, the branch manager, came to see our home. He was calm, he made my wife and I feel relaxed. Answered all our questions and made us feel at ease. We then spoke to a Nicola over the phone. Nicola sorted out the viewings and then got us the best possible sale for our home. Sarah was at home to show the potential buyers around. She’s obviously done an amazing job, as we got offers in straight away. As a team, they all did brilliant. Can’t fault them.

A big thank you to Rupert, Bianca and Steve who handled the sale of our home in Canterbury. Rupert came to our home at the start of the process and was very well prepared, bringing with him notes and research on recent sales of similar properties in the area. As I showed him round the house he was already taking quick measurements there and then. He talked us through the marketing they could offer, and although they took a slightly higher commission than other agents we'd spoken to, Rupert's professionalism convinced us that it would be worth it. Indeed, the house was listed the next day with an open day to be held the following week. Bianca did a great job showing people round. This was the only day that viewings needed to be done, as we had several offers, and our final offer above asking price. We were grateful to only have this single day of disruption. From here Steve took over the process. Although we hit some bumps from the top of the chain, Steve was able to reassure our buyer and guided us through to exchange and completion. From start to finish, this was a slick experience, and I would recommend. Thanks again!
