If you want to feel like your banging your head against the wall every time you want to speak to a estate agents then Your Move is the company for you. check in to our rented property in 2021 was a absolute nightmare didn't agree with Your Moves checkin report, so refused to sign and created our own detailed one with photos and descriptions. House clearly was not professionally cleaned when we moved in but was told it was, and was ignored when we were reporting that It had not been cleaned. Any problem we had over the 2 years we was there was like pulling teeth to get resolved. Now we have moved out 28days ago 2023 and are still battling to get our £2500 deposit back as they are trying to bill us for issues we reported on our original checkin report. Your move are saying that they will only work off their check in report, when we refused to even sign this and provided our own detailed version with photos. Honestly the whole thing has been horrendous and still ongoing.

Never in my life will I be private renting again. Your move hitchin are lovely and helpful only until they get you move in.. god forbid you have any problems or need help after this as they refuse to help and tell you you need to contact the landlords instead. The landlords are absolutely awful and money grabbers. Will try anything to keep your deposit once moved out. Been waiting nearly 2 months just to speak to anyone about getting my depsoit back, keep being told that nobody is available to talk to. Apparently there’s no deadlines for the landlord to respond by so you could be waiting months, and if they are trying to deduct money from the deposit for any issues then good luck, I was told they can just keep adding and adding to the amount they wish to deduct. There’s no point in disputing it as they make it so so difficult to do that and tell you ‘you might aswell accept it or you’ll be waiting months’. Absolutely awful customer service I highly advise you to not use these estate agents.

Expressed an interest in a property in Peterlee County Durham. Agents seemed quite helpful until their attitudes then abruptly changed when they realised me and my partner were disabled and unable to work. Had they's taken the time to examine that ime a carer for my ill partner & we had more than enough money to pay the rent, our glowing references & tenancy history..... ? No, they just said, Youll need a guarantor because you dont work......Thats unfair termsThats discrimination See you in court !
