GoogleJamal Hussain took over the rental of my flat after another estate agent failed to secure a rental after two months. Jamal rented my flat in just one week. He was proactive and efficient. His friendly and calm manner provided reassurance for the process. However, he seemed to do the job without assistance. A more supported process would have ensured paperwork accompany the agreed terms more closely. I am most grateful for Jamal’s help in renting my flat.

GoogleMe and my partner recently rented an apartment and the process was done smoothly and quick. Jamal and Al explained us the steps to follow and took care of everything regarding documentation. I will only suggest improving the time of response and communication. Renting it’s a big decision and feeling accompanied by agents is always reassuring.

GoogleWe rented a short let for 3 months. The renting process was smooth and the paperwork and payment is handled through the website. Since it was a short let the rent for the whole period plus 4 weeks of deposit has to be made before we could move in. When we got to the apartment it was like moving in to someones home There were no empty closets and the owners stuff were everywhere. Good thing we brought our own towels and linens since we couldn't find anything clean (or it might have been clean but thrown into the closet with dirty cloths and whatnot). The pillows were discoloured and stinking so we had to purchase our own. Also we couldn't get the grease and make up off the towels so we need to buy or own of those too. In the kitchen dirty kitchenware were mixed with somewhat clean in the cupboards and old food was left in the freezer and on the counters. Also mixed in were tools, spare parts for plumbing, spackling paste etc. It took us a weekend to clean the apartment and get things organised. We thought it must have been some kind of mistake and that Foxton by no way could have inspected the property before we moved in, but our agent confirmed that she herself had inspected the flat before we moved in and that everything was in order. So now we know what Foxton mean by "Bring your suitcase and we'll provide the rest."

TrustpilotExtremely poor handling of deposit refund, lack of accountability and communication.
I moved out of my flat on 25 September 2025, and my landlord immediately approved the full return of my deposit. I provided my bank details to Foxtons on 3 October, and the online portal confirmed that the refund would be processed within 5, 7 working days.

GoogleThis is a horrible company. The manager of this branch Kirsty Farrington is a racist towards Asian people. I was almost trapped by her signing a contract to pay rent 6-monthly. And because of her lie, my deposit was detained by the landlord. MUST AVOID.

GoogleEven though Sadaf and her manager, Jamal (from Foxtons Camden), did a good job in helping us find a flat, Foxtons should be more cautious in selecting landlords and their agents and in helping active tenants. We have been having a lot of problems with Citidwell and the landlord Samut Limited. I really don’t recommend a tenancy with those companies. I believe Foxtons is able to find better landlords and agents as commercial partners.

Two months after the end of a short let Foxtons still hadn't returned the deposit and failed to answer all correspondence. No issues or deductions have been suggested; they simply don't respond and I had to raise a dispute under the deposit protection scheme.

Despite having only been formally instructed for one day, he brought in two tenant offers at the asking price. This happened even before my property was listed on the Foxtons website. He is very responsive and a pleasure to work with.
