GoogleBeing a first time renter in UK, I had no idea of the process involved but Joe Hood and the staff at Martin & Co in Cambridge guided me through the many steps of the application and got me into my apartment on my requested date. Really timely responses, went out of their way to schedule additional viewings for us, really friendly and professional team - our case was handled by Eleanor Pettet and she couldn't have been better. Would highly recommend, especially after some awful experiences with other lettings/estate agents!

Sarah was very accommodating in squeezing us into a tight schedule of viewings, guiding us through the process of acquiring a rental and Joe was very helpful in explaining the lengthy and challenging vetting process which Martin and Co. outsource.

Once we had moved, we had minor issues that were very quickly pick on by Eleanor, and an engineer was despatched to fix the issue as soon as possible. GoogleWe had a great experience with Martin&Co while searching for a new apartment. Everything went smoothly and without issues, from the initial viewing all the way to our move in. Eleanor (the agent) was friendly and informative, she answered all of our queries, cleared every doubt and provided information about the fees and how the process will go. I cannot comment how responsive they are with property management because in our case the landlord does it directly, but I can definitely recommend them for the letting part.

That was maybe my 12th visit, and after the other ones with which you feel like a number and have to make the visit quickly, with Martin & Co, I was called by my name and had enough time to view the property. Then, until signing the contract, Federica was always responsive. I'm new in the UK, so I had many questions several times. She made me feel comfortable and confident. Thank you very much for your time and support.

GoogleWe just bought a house with Martin & Co and they were brilliant from the first viewing to handing over the keys. Their handling of the negotiations was professional and they were always responsive. After our offer was accepted we asked the view the house several times to take measurements, and Eleanor went above and beyond to always accommodate our requests - driving to the other side of town at short notice and waiting for us to finish. We always felt like they had our best interests at heart and they provided a personal and friendly service.

The team at Martin & Co were incredibly helpful during my rental process-- from booking viewings filing paperwork and answering all my questions in between, I felt that I was always in good hands. Eleanor was a great contact to have in the office as well, her organisation kindness and quick responses meant the world! I was able to find a great place in less than a week and I'm so grateful to Martin & Co for all their clarity and guidance.

Any time I'd call, he'd either be there to respond or get back to me. Very grateful I found my new apartment and he was there to assist. Upon moving in, any issues I experienced were resolved quickly and professionally by Amelia. She's been great, friendly and efficient. I couldn't have felt more comfortable in my new home without her kind and helpful responses and actions. Price wise, cheaper admin fees than most companies in Cambridge and all fees have been explained thoroughly. No hidden costs (that I've experienced anyway). Very grateful to have found them.

GoogleEleanor was excellent. I rearranged several times because of travel disruptions, but in the end my wife and I visited the property and loved it. It is here that Eleanor excellened. She negotiated with the landlord, called when she said she was going to call and emailed when she said she would. She was reliable and entirely pleasant. I find estate agents intolerable, but if only more people like Eleanor join the industry, there is hope for what is otherwise no more than a necessary evil.
