Did rent a property through this agent for 12 months. Upon check-in the inventory stated stains in the carpet and cobwebs present. Upon vacating the landlord has attempted to bill for cleaning despite the evidence in the check-in report showing this would be erroneous. Martin & Co have not been supportive in pushing back on this clearly invalid charge in which the landlord expects the property to be left in a better condition than it was let. This kind of sharp practice has no place in a modern developed society.

We had a great experience with Martin&Co while searching for a new apartment. Everything went smoothly and without issues, from the initial viewing all the way to our move in. Eleanor (the agent) was friendly and informative, she answered all of our queries, cleared every doubt and provided information about the fees and how the process will go. I cannot comment how responsive they are with property management because in our case the landlord does it directly, but I can definitely recommend them for the letting part.

We just bought a house with Martin & Co and they were brilliant from the first viewing to handing over the keys. Their handling of the negotiations was professional and they were always responsive. After our offer was accepted we asked the view the house several times to take measurements, and Eleanor went above and beyond to always accommodate our requests - driving to the other side of town at short notice and waiting for us to finish. We always felt like they had our best interests at heart and they provided a personal and friendly service.
