GoogleI had a really bad experience today at Cambridge with Martin &co staffs. My wife got appointment for viewing today at 10am and she is not available coz she have work and I went with 1 year old baby for viewing and I reach there around 9.45am and I wait untill 10am to see the the person to show the house unfortunately I haven’t see anyone on time then I contact to the office at 10.02am and speak with one of the other staff and I explained then where I am waiting an I give them all details to notice me very easily and says me the is on the way to property will be there in a while. But I couldn’ see anyone till untill10.25am then I contact to office again and they says they will call me back soon by enquiring what time staff will reach at property. Then again I was disappointed. Then I call them at10.40am at that time they said person have been arrived long ago and I was not there. I said them I was there with my baby and explained everything but they stick on the sentence that I was not there, it means I’m lying to them. But worst part is my baby’s hand and leg got frozen. She was so upset. They ruin my whole day. My schedules and my baby feeding time and everything. I attached call history and appointment detail because I’m not lying.

We have reviewed what happened on the day. Our colleague Millie arrived at the property at approximately 9:55am for the 10:00am appointment and remained there until around 10:15am. During this time, she also attempted to call the telephone number registered on our system on two occasions, but unfortunately the calls were not answered.
It therefore appears that there was a genuine misunderstanding, as both you and our colleague believed the other party had not arrived. We are sorry that this resulted in you waiting unnecessarily and appreciate how frustrating this must have been.
We certainly did not intend to suggest that you were being untruthful, and we apologise if our communication gave that impression. We will review the circumstances internally so that we can reduce the likelihood of a similar situation occurring again.

GoogleAnyone looking for a house to rent will know that the rental market is hideous at the moment! We had the added challenge of needing to relocate from one city to another so were unable to attend viewings easily and with an eight month old baby in tow it added a whole other set of challenges! We were so lucky to find Sarah Beedle at Martin & Co who really took her time to help us find a house suitable for our family. Other agencies weren't even taking prospective tenant's details but Sarah went above and beyond to help us. She would take time to call us and check in and remained wonderfully human throughout what can often be quite a cold and transactional process.
