Our branch is on Regent Street, ideally located to serve the town of Cambridge and the neighbouring areas of Ely and Huntingdon. GoogleAbbots itself is ok and Alex was super proactive and nice when handling our end of tenancy. However, Countrywide is disappointing as we’re having a very hard time trying to get our deposit back. So I would avoid Countrywide and all its agencies as a whole.

GoogleWe were looking for a flat and needed one within 3 weeks. We found this amazing apartment. Zita and Rosie both helped us on securing the flat and finally moving in to the flat. They guided us on what were needed and were always responding to anything we asked. Even after moving in, they still keep responding which makes us more comfortable. We can highly recommend Abbotts since they are friendly and efficient.

GoogleVery unprofessional, each time I’ve spoken with the staff on the phone they have been rude and have not been helpful. Went to cancel a viewing which was already difficult to organise with them and was told the property had already been rented out! I was made to feel like I was in the wrong and overall their customer service is awful. Would not recommend

GoogleI am very happy with the service provided by the guys working at Abbots. Since the beginning of the purchase of our flat, they were kind, helpful and very very patient (specially with me). Everyone I needed them I just needed to give a call and if by any chance they were not available, they were giving a call back afterwards. I would like to mention the professionalism of Sam, Anthony and Rob (from Countrywide). They are all amazing. If one day I plan to search for another house or selling mine, I wouldn't doubt on contacting them again. Thank you guys!

GoogleThey took over the management of the property I initially rented from another agency. I was an ideal tenant, professional, quiet, not damaging anything, always paying bills and rents on time and cancelling all my utility bills when checked out. The landlord refused to release the deposit and unwilling to communicate his reasons. This agency did not help me whatsoever to try to solve this problem. With a landlord unwilling to communicate and release deposit and with an agency unwilling to help, after 2 months I ended up opening a dispute in MyDeposit where the deposit was hold. Extremely disappointed.
Good afternoon, thank your for your comments. We hold the deposit as 'stakeholder' and as such it remains the Deposit for the Tenancy between yourself as the Tenant and the Landlord. When a dispute arises, we can advise either/both parties but we ultimately do not hold the power to make decisions, and this remains between you. This is why we have the Deposit Protection Scheme, to enable adjudication in these circumstances, and I am glad to hear that you utilized this service in order to gain a resolution.
