I would like to give Kim Shanks a 5* review. We have been with Romans, for the past 4 years and who knows how many more to come. This has been our first rental experience in the U.K, and it has been a fantastic partnership!! Kim responds to emails professionally and timeously. She has gone above and beyond on all occasions and we appreciate your tremendous work ethic, exactly what a tenant expects when dealing with a leader in the market. There's a lot to be said for making the time to call and discuss the latest request/email and not just hitting the 'reply' button. The time you take to communicate and discuss the matter in question is definitely valued. Keep up the fantastic work Kim. Excellent service, professional, helpful and approachable

I have been looking for a house to buy and have come across few estate agencies. Roman is the best so far. I would like her to mention Ryan Cooper who was the one I dealt with mostly. Ryan showed an exceptional knowledge in all the properties that he showed us and had answers to most of the questions . This gave us trust and made Roman much more credible than other agencies. Ryan has been very professional, polite, helpful and friendly at all times. In fact, we now focus on properties advertised by Roman rather than any other agency. Awful from the start, be VERY careful if you rent with these people, they will do anything and falsify check in reports ( mine was done when I wasn't even there ! ) and try claim money off you for things unnecessarily at the end. We were nothing but good tenants, always paid on time, the flat we had was in such a poor state with no appliances working, we were left with no washing machine for 2 weeks just before Christmas , we had to deal with all the maintenance people ourselves. AWFUL service, all they were interested in was setting up to steal money at the end of the tenancy which they hid behind their false check in report - BE WARNED! they are NEVER on the tenants side.

Roman's have a very glossy image on the surface, But I have noticed some shortcomings with regard to Tenants right and consideration. Like most estate agents they seem more concerned with making money on buying & selling houses than paying attention to looking after Tenants needs. Being hit with sudden fees and exploiting a difficult situation of being unable to purchase their own properties. I am pleased to say that the property management part of the business has a more "human face" to Roman's business model, and makes it easier when they are more focused on showing a more caring side rather than treating as an expendable commodity.

Romans really helped us out. We were living in Japan and looking to move back to the U.K. after many years abroad.
