Romans were very helpful (especially Charlotte) - I felt they were really trying to find something that suited me, rather than just let me do the legwork and wait to collect the commission. I took a flat from another agent in the end as it happened to work best for me, but I'll aim to use Romans if I move again.

Been living with a bedroom window that won't open for 7 months at this point. This was a known issue from before we moved in, apparently they have a very warped definition of what it means to "keep in repair and proper working order," to quote their own contract. Absolutely avoid if at all possible, they don't care about you, only your money. Unless you're a landlord, in which case I can't recommend them enough.

Myself and My partner were forced by circumstance to seek accomodation very quickly after a deal with another estate agent spectacularly fell apart for multiple reasons. Sophie was the first person that I spoke to at she was able to first of all putting my nerves at ease - no small task considering how stressed and furious I was with estate agents in general - and then professionally and very efficiently go through the process of showing me the property by virtual viewing. Within 2 hours me and my partner had paid the holding fee and 36 hours late we were viewing the property in person. I would recommend this branch and this woman to anyone looking to rent - she is never more then a phone call or email away which is very very comforting to one who went a week between contacts or another company. Avoid at all costs. Absolutely shocking company. Buying with them took over a year and a half with poor communication and I had to escalate to an area manager (from another area) in the end because everyone was so terrible at communicating and getting their jobs done. With contacts frequently on annual leave at the same time!!!! I thought my dealings with them were finally over, but now I'm stuck in another appalling handling with their lettings side after there was damage to my property with liability falling with one of their rented properties. Absolute radio silence for over a month and no resolution in sight yet - absolutely disgusting customer service.
