Was looking for a place and messaged Sure Lettings in the middle of the night and received a response immediately. Rang the following day and they made time for us and saw the flat on the same day. They made sure the flat was in great condition before anybody viewed it, which I can’t say the same with the other letting agency that we were with before. Rob has been excellent, explaining everything to us and even squeezing in a second viewing despite this busy season. Jess sorted out our application and selection and even stayed an hour late to do that for us on the same day we viewed the place. You guys are amazing! Looking forward to moving into our new place soon.

I had a rocky road with Surelet in the early days and was in no way a fan, however since James Norman has been managing the property my son and I live in I have to say the service has greatly improved. Prompt and professional responses to any queries or issues. He deals with matters with understanding and empathy as well which has been much needed in the last few months. We put our house up for sale with Surelet and they quickly had numerous prospective buyers immediately interested. It was SSTC within a week. However, the sale of our property took a little longer than I expected, due to the purchasers being first time buyers, but I have to say Sophie Marcer from Surelet kept us well informed of any changes along the way leading to a final completion. I thought Surelet was an agency just for renting properties. Now being made aware and having the experience of selling a property I would definitely recommend using Surelet. One of the worst property management companies I have dealt with. They claim to "ensure quality" service by visiting the property every 3 months. However, they not only fail to care about reported problems but also ignore them. In one case, they did not even notify me that they would not be coming on the scheduled day, resulting in a direct loss for me as I had to take a day off work. It gets even worse with their "customer service" when calling to enquire about the situation, the few ladies who answer the phone always unhappy. I understand that issues related to maintaining quality might be something, but people are paying for this. The company fails to address problems both with tenants and landlord. I had to wait over half a year for someone to finally come and address the problems, despite reporting them multiple times during their supposed "to ensure quality every 3 months visits" still in vain, until I wrote a formal complaint directly to the CEO. If I ever need property management services in the future, I will make sure it won't be this company, nor can I recommend it. SURE (oh irony) that the people involved to certain teams lack coordination when performing their tasks.

I have always found them helpful both in terms of management of existing properties as well as marketing when tenancy agreements end / new properties are acquired. The Derby office (especially Lara) is extremely efficient at providing answers to questions and sorting out issues.
