GoogleGreat experience with the entire team from Stony Stratford. The whole process from mortgage interview, application, guiding, viewings and deciding on our home house went so smoothly. TrustpilotSequence rental - AVOID!
Sequence rental are possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. Overpriced, inept, and seem to totally forget that as a landlord it is me that pays for their service. Tenants did not report a leak that caused my wooden worktops to rot, to replace them will cost nearly £800 but am being told this is fair wear and tear and I can not claim for them to be replaced! Poor service from start to finish.

Absolutely useless got a 12 week contract after 4 weeks no viewing what so ever the 4 time wasters i got never got any feed back from brown n merry Aylesbury i had to keep calling them when i called to ask why i wasn't getting viewings i was told it was brexit it was the school holidays it was the price even though it was 20 thousand pounds less than when i brought it in 2017 Do they want to sell houses or not the communication or lack of it is not acceptable would defiantly NOT RECOMMEND THEM

GoogleGreat experience using this company. Alex and Sophie have both been amazing at communicating everything and helping efficiently with the whole process. Nothing is too much for them both, they respond quickly to queries and are friendly and approachable. Amazing to find an agency who care just as much about there tenants as they do there landlords.x

GoogleFrom the first appointment, which was the viewing of the property, we've been assisted by James. During the whole process, he's been very efficient replying to my emails and phone calls trying to find solutions for my concerns. On the day of the move, we arrived quite late at the house (after the closing time of the letting agency) but he's been very kind and met us at the property to give us the keys. I really appreciate that. They also had to speed up the redecorating process of the house for us, as we didn't have much time left in our old house. Thanks Brown and Merry Daniela

They not only helped advertise the sale of my property but went above and beyond in regards to the mortgage application for the second property which is now my current home. I had the pleasure of dealing with several members of staff in different departments of the branch and really can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend using this branch. Booked a second viewing last minute at a property we have agreed to purchase in Aylesbury. William, who accompanied us for the first viewing and has been good with communicating, came at half 5 (after he had finished) for an agreed 15 min slot. However he stayed for 45 mins with us and it was extremely helpful and beneficial.

GoogleElliott and Alex have been absolutely fantastic all the way through the process of finding and viewing a property to completing and signing for the tenancy for our new home. Very hardworking and supported us throughout and was at the end of the phone or email with any query matter how small. 5* level of professionalism and customer service. GoogleWhile we ended up not renting with Brown & Merry Estate Agents, I cannot recommend them enough! We viewed a property with Alexandra who was hands down the best estate agent we worked with while looking for properties. She was fantastic at communication in regards to viewing the property (confirmation calls, showing up on time, etc), promptly kept me updated on information from the landlord, and asked a lot of really great questions for the property.

I have used many estate agents but find Brown and Merry very professional and knowledgeable furthermore they go out of the way to help a client and get results,found a tenets on second day ! James spennewyn kept in constant contact and I was very pleased with the service that I received from all of the staff in the office...what a friendly bunch! I would definitely recommend them as a helpful, proactive estate agent. Keep up the good work!... THANK YOU

GoogleThese are probably the nicest people I have used for any purchase, they always smile when you walk in even if I had a scheduled appointment or not they always found time for me. They always kept me up to date, I cant think of a single time I had to call them for an update as they were always two steps ahead.. As a first time buyer I literally knew very little so my appointments always over ran, they were with Natasha the advisor. She never minded about the time taken only that I knew everything that was required which I really respect her for. She also got involved with helping me with paper work and made the buying process stress free. The other staff are also brilliant, one even took on the job of helping me with solicitor paperwork which is defiantly above and beyond his duty. His name is Ian and he honestly cant do enough for you. Anyway lastly I would like to say thank you again to everyone in the branch. I would rate more stars but 5 is the maximum unfortunately. Stefan

My house was let to quality tenants who moved in within a week of it becoming available! Everything that needed doing to make that happen was organised by this pair of superwomen!

List bait properties that are no longer available and continually fail to return calls over a number of weeks, despite multiple commitments 'to come right back' when followed up. The Dfferent excuses provided each time. Serious question marks re: the ethics of this place, and that's before we get on to their complete lack of basic professionalism. As a buyer I would not consider buying anywhere listed by this lot, even if I really liked the place... plenty of other professional outfits that do manage basic things like returning calls etc out there. Potential buyers and sellers beware. AVOID.

We sold our house in MK via Brown and Merry in Newport Pagnell. They offered us a good deal and got the property sold for the full asking price within a few days. We had been with an online estate agent and had to use their solicitors and after 12 weeks the sale fell though because of the solicitors were rubbish. So we were very worried about the whole process starting again. These worried proved unfounded. We are in the process of buying another house and happen to be buying a house with the same company Jones and Chapman in Wallasey. Although It is too early to rate them so far so good. Both have been very helpful and allowed us to submit our ID at the MK branch to save us a long drive.

The Leighton Buzzard branch of Brown and Merry's is shockingly bad. The staff take days to respond to emails and then only give one sentence responses when they do and ignore half of your queries. They never return calls when the say they will. Then when you call them they are usually busy or away from their desk. If you finally get hold of them they say they'll do something for you then never follow up phone calls with any action or email confirmation or information they promised they would send over to you like links, numbers, documents etc. It feels like banging your head against a wall. They make doing their own job seem like they're doing you a huge favour and that is never a good thing. Just don't go there.
