Cannot speak highly enough of Jodie at the Aylesbury branch. Was recently relocating back to Aylesbury for work and looking for a good rental property, and Jodie was absolutely amazing in organising online viewings and sorting all the necessary paperwork for me. Every time there was a problem she was there to help and support. Have dealt with many of the local agents in the past, and Brown & Merry are by far the best, 100% would recommend.

This is why I thoroughly recommend Alex to support the property letting and give supreme confidence in her future management service for my tenants: Alex has a really engaging uplifting personality oozing with enthusiasm for the potential landlord. After her really supportive walk-around my house and full of encouragement to jump into letting I went with the process. Even before any photos had been taken and within the week a first potential tenant had been encouraged to visit. Alex confidently walked them around creating a perfect picture for them. By the following day, these visitors had secured the tenancy. Alex has a superb range of trades-people in her contact list. Every aspect of our recent experience with Brown and Merry in Stony has been outstanding. We chose B&M to link in with our purchase house, and were quickly visited by Mason, who set us at our ease, helped us assess our requirements, and gave us a market value that turned out to be accurate and fair. Klaudia took on our file, carefully going through the paperwork, and explaining the process. The online B&M portal was helpful and kept us up to date with the early part of the sale. They gave us advice for the (excellent) photographer's visit, and arranged for the EPC to be completed. The team worked quickly to arrange viewings, even one before the sale had gone 'live'. When we (quickly) found buyers for the house, Klaudia and the team provided advice throughout the conveyancing process, and were an excellent go-between as we negotiated various aspects with the buyers. The sales team were always available to visit, or on the end a phone - and invariably gave excellent advice to enable the sale process to go smoothly. We were delighted with the support we received from Brown and Merry, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others requiring a professional, friendly and dedicated estate agent team. Original review (year 2024) Alex went out of her way to help me let my property. She is professional, approachable, experienced and efficient. I would definitely recommend their service. Updated review (year 2025) My tenant had to be evicted with rent in arrears, but thanks to the landlord and legal protection offered via Brown and Merry, it really minimised my loss. Now that I have to claim the insurance, I really appreciate Alex recommended this protection scheme to me last year, otherwise I'd really struggle right now. When finding a new tenant, Alex has been so efficient and communicative throughout the process. She has been diligent with housing the right tenant for my property, she is helpful, considerate, professional and approachable as usual. Poppy has been really helpful throughout the administrative process as well. I cannot thank the team enough.

Unexpected Charges and Poor Transparency

I used this company to manage my property in Hemel Hempstead. At the beginning, Stephen and Elliot were very convincing, but they did not clearly explain that there would be additional charges on top of the monthly management fee.
