The Marsh & Parsons Brook Green estate agency office is located on Shepherds Bush Road, just moments from Brook Green itself, and offers sales, lettings and lettings management. GoogleIt seems this branch of the particular M&P agency lacks professionalism. They are a bit arrogant and way too pushy in my opinion. Not to mention they take forever to release deposits after moving out. I don’t think I’ll be looking to rent through Marsh & Parson’s again anytime soon. Sharn is also borderline aggressive, when she actually answers email directed at her that is.

GoogleA few days ago I asked Amrita the sales manager at Marsh & Parsons’ Brook Green branch to visit my leasehold flat in Blythe Road W14 and assess it for the purposes not only of probate - as I was inheriting it - but its current value should I wish to sell it on the open market. She was gloriously helpful and went far beyond her job description in giving me all the special tips one needs to know if one is going to maximise one’s asset. She was very empathic and sympathetic & was careful to take into account my personal circumstances - both my parents having just died - rather than just the commercial context. She was able to warn me about all sorts of pitfalls of which I would have been ignorant. I felt it was like dealing with an informed friend rather than a self-focused business operator. In the event of my wishing to sell the property I certainly felt I could completely trust Amrita & this particular branch of Marsh & Parsons to selflessly do their best for me. This is not always the reaction which estate agents inspire!

GoogleThe agency favored the landlord (with whom they have continuous commercial relationships) throughout the end of tenancy process leading to us paying unjustified out of accordance costs such as check out report and administrative fees that should not have been covered by us. In collusion with the landlord, they accepted to modify the check out report produced by an independent inspector (Green Kite) in the absence of the parties to our detriment in view of allowing the landlord to proceed with unfair deductions to our deposit. The agency never interceded with the landlord and every margin call were all made to the landlord's benefit. Sam Canning Birtles who was an excellent employee of the agency and found the property for us left for a competitor a few months ago. We truly recommend, to the extent possible, to avoid this agency for any lettings if your are prospective tenants. We are contemplating to sue the agency as soon as the deposit adjudication process will be completed by TDS.
