During an incredibly difficult time for renting he really gave us all the tips and tricks to help us land our dream flat and even after signing he was there to answer questions via both email and whatsapp and took us around to get measurements too. Our experience with Sharn Lee / Marsh & Parsons Brook Green has been incredibly disappointing and reflective of an agency that prioritises landlords at the expense of tenants. When our landlord decided to break the lease early, we were left scrambling to find alternative accommodation for our family, including two young children, with minimal support from the agency. Despite our difficult circumstances, including the delay of our renovation and the challenges of finding a short-term rental in the current market, the agents showed no interest in assisting us or finding an equitable solution. Instead, we were reminded that their “client remains the landlord” and that the landlord had no reason to forego rent, as though our housing stability was irrelevant. Their only suggestion was to look at Airbnb, a wildly impractical and costly solution for a family. It’s clear that the agency’s allegiance is solely to landlords, with no consideration for tenants’ well-being, even when faced with significant hardship. This lack of empathy and professionalism makes them an unreliable and unsupportive choice for tenants. If you’re considering renting through this agency, I strongly urge you to think twice.

My partner and I were in a bind, after living in a flat for over 6 years we were informed that the flat was up for sale and we had to find a new place to live. It was in the worst possible time of the pandemic and the holiday season. I easily went to over 20 agencies and there was simply nothing up for rent. We moved from the States during the winter holidays, landing on Christmas Eve, a time that many had told us was tricky to secure housing. After meeting with various estate agents and not much luck in the rental market, we met Sam Canning-Birtles from the Brook Green Marsh & Parsons office. Sam was very friendly and answered all of our seemingly never-ending questions about how the rental market works in the UK, and what differences and pricing we should expect. Marsh and Parsons are literal life savers. I was really having a very tough time looking out for houses due to the current housing crisis situation in London, but I am really grateful that I met Sam. My hopes really went up. Sam walked me through the whole process in London since I am pretty knew here. Not only did he help me with finding this beautiful house that I call home now but the tips and tricks that he had shared has been making my life so easier here. The whole process with Marsh and Parsons is so damn smooth. They manage the property that I live in on behalf of the landlord and I get immediate solutions and response to every query that I raise!
