GoogleI am a retired estate agent owning my own lettings and sales business. I approached Chappell & Matthews as their office was just around the corner from my flat in Bristol Harbourside. Ben Gregory provided an accurate valuation and gave a time frame for the flat to be let which was by the end of the week. He was right and with the viewings lined up I had multiple offers on the property within a couple of days. Debra Barton then took over, she accurately quizzed each candidate in a non obtrusive way enabling to get all the information I required. Dan then checked the tenants in organising the inventory and meter readings. In all a very professional approach by all and I would heartily recommend them to future landlords.

I appreciate the daily calls to check in and let us know how everything was going and how each employee was kind enough to take time out of their day to help us through certain proccesses. It's interesting to read some of the positive reviews posted here as they seem to be describing a totally different agency to the one we had the misfortune to rent a flat in Clifton through. My wife and I have never encountered such an unprofessional and unhelpful group of people - they are incapable of doing even the most basic (and essential) parts of their job in the proper manner and without repeated requests to do so. The Whiteladies Road office is chaotic, communication is confused, contradictory and often just plain wrong, and the staff have no concept whatsoever of a duty of care towards their clients. To say they have a complicated relationship with the truth would also be an understatement. Unfortunately, C&M made our time living in Bristol less enjoyable and much more stressful than it should have been.

Ignored rules and regulations about entering a property with at least 24 hours notice, turned up to my house to show people around for viewings after messages explicitly stated we did not consent for you to enter our property with such short notice.

GoogleI moved to Bristol last year and I was frustrated as everybody knows it can be really challenging to rent an apartment in the city center area. I found about this company online and I emailed them. Oliver Bloxham contacted me an hour later and he was able to find me a place within a week They are the best simple as that!
