Fantastic service from start to finish (Foxhall Gait)

Wasteland, dead trees and lack of customer care

Dandara have been great with the build, snagging and general service.. until handing over the estate to the management team.It’s clear now Dandara do not care about residents and external parts of how St Michaels Park, Stewkley has been left. Saying it’s now passed to the management company. It certainly does not look like the brochures bought from! Wasteland, dead bushes, patches where plants removed and not replaced, dead trees, piles of mud around the children’s play area, sand paths that do not withstand weather or use. The communal areas on our estate are a mess and it’s very disappointing to receive email replies that basically say ‘not our problem’. As a case study for Dandara I should be proud of the estate I live on, but I am unhappy with the awful communal areas and mess that Dandara have failed us on and are clearly happy with their standards.

From our first interaction, Fabian was knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping us find the right home. From start to finish both him and Louise were always on the ball and made a huge effort to contact us daily with updates. We felt so reassured during this process, which everyone is aware is can be a stressful time. Timing was key to get into our new house because of the stamp duty increase in April and Fabian as well as Louise made sure this happened. Since we have moved in, any tiny issues have been addressed straight away resolved. We have not had to chase at all. Great locations and great houses

We viewed a few of the Dandara homes at the Hazlewood and Grange developments in Aberdeen. We loved the Yew and entered into an assisted sale agreement meaning that we put down a deposit and Dandara would pay estate agency fees and help market our home. We didn’t proceed further with the purchase - not through any issues with Dandara I hasten to add - but Alanna was absolutely great to deal with throughout the whole process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these Dandara developments and look out for Alanna who will give you a no-pressure and enjoyable tour.

It all started so well… wonderful sales team, who sold the dream. However, customer ‘care’ post sale has been a joke. St Michaels Park in Stewkley was literally abandoned after the last house was built 4 months ago, no landscaping done, the land deep with weeds, play park unusable….the list goes on. Endless promises that they’ll sort it ‘next week’, next week always comes and goes….they have failed to meet planning obligations with regard to landscaping. Please can we see some progress Dandara!! *UPDATE - 15/10/23…still no progress! Estate exactly the same, no work has taken place despite the promises and comment below!!!!!*
