GoogleHaving initially signed up with an internet agent... and gotten nowhere for weeks, Romans came in and sold our house within 2 weeks. I was not only very impressed with their professional service but cannot recommend using a high street estate agent, particularly Romans, highly enough! If you actually want to sell your house, it is worth paying a bit more for the professional service Romans provide (compared with the internet only agency prices). I found the team at Bracknell extremely polite, efficient and professional. Mrs Rhodes, Bracknell.

GoogleAfter some of the reviews I had read I was reluctant about using Romans, but after having 2 other agents come out and value my house at £225k and Romans at £259k I thought it's worth trying! After having regular updates and properties being booked for me to view, Romans managed to sell my house for an impressive £255k! This has made things even easier for me to start looking especially as it was all within a week! They have been very helpful and easy to speak to when I have needed advise.

GoogleThis is regarding their lettings agents, I would steer clear of ever renting a property managed by them. They are the biggest sharks when it comes to checking out of your rental property. They tried to charge me for normal wear and tear situations. They even tried to charge me for for dampness in the ceiling which how would I be in responsible for? They have tried this sort of thing with every tenant I have ever spoken to that have rented through them. Right now they are doing the same thing with a friend of mine that rents an apartment through them. If you every find yourself looking at an apartment that they manage, I would steer clear of them and try find an alternative property. If you do move in, take photos of everything and have a witness with you. They will try and take your deposit money for every little thing that should come under normal wear and tear and then charge you a ridiculous administration charge for trying to make money out of you. In all my years of renting I have never come across a group of people that will try and make as much money as possible out of you when it comes to checking out and getting your deposit back.

GoogleA very bad and frustrating experience, I would never recommend this agency. My move to the house was delayed stating cleaning and inventory formalities however when I moved in on the stipulated date, no one helped in providing any instructions or guidance. Though I requested twice by visiting there office to accompany me to the property. Much to my disappointment the house was not cleaned properly (which was one of the stated reason for delayed occupancy). I was handed two sets of keys out of which one set keys were not working (for main door). In the house the electric switch were damaged and water heater was not working. Bathroom shower knob was broken and shower head was clogged with dirt and was unable to dispense water properly. And to make it worst there was no electricity at the house, called multiple times to multiple people at the letting agency still no help and no resolution. Finally it was evening and they closed down there office for the day, and I was left with no electricity no shower no hot water. To my knowledge Romans charges the maximum among all other letting agency (more than double in comparison to some of the competitors) and are expected to provide quality service. However in my experience it was the work customer service experience and worst management of the property. Next day also I emailed and called multiple times to sort the hot water, elctric switch and bathroom shower problem ..yet so far no resolution :( Apart from the above mentioned issues there are some dozens of minor issues too which should have been attended but were not. Like following : Dirty House Damaged Wooden Tiles Missing electric Bulbs Broken Wardrobe slabs Cabinet Door non functional Non attentive to voice calls All I felt was till the time I was due to pay money I was attended well and the moment sale was closed they never bothered to care for customer service and customer experience. I wish I could have opted for a different agency. **Don’t even want to rate one star

GoogleWe received excellent service from Romans in Bracknell from day one, our only regret is not choosing to sell through them. It didn't matter who we dealt with, they were always professional and courteous, and willing to work beyond office hours if necessary. We never found ourselves waiting for a response from them, we never had to chase anything up. We noticed a huge change when buying through Romans to other estate agents we had used, needless to say, we shall be choosing Romans in the future to sell through without a doubt.

GoogleHad great service from Ollie Hawkins in renting my son's house whilst he is overseas. He found a tenant very quickly and they moved in without any problems. Its also not just about finding the tenant but managing the property as well and I would like to mention that Mark Porter from the property management part of Romans has also been really helpful. A great team and I would recomend them and use them again.

GoogleBeware average fees are double than every other estate agent locally apart from one, also I agree that the positive reviews are clearly fake. Forget this place: Dishonesty and double pricing cannot be ignored. Go elsewhere this cowboy lot cannot be trusted.

It was good to talk to you and get your feedback on the fees we charge, which will be relayed to the decision makers in the lettings business. As mentioned we are pioneering the no deposit option for tenants as we do understand there are a lot of payments to be made and we are trying to implement options to benefit tenants at point of occupation. GoogleTerrible people to deal with, they advertise houses they have already sold to take contact details. They call you every time they have something to sell, even when you ask them to use email only. Never listen what you asked them.

Due to recent changes in anti-money laundering legalisation, we cannot list properties as under offer as quickly as we could in the past, which has caused some confusion amongst buyers and sellers.
