Avoid at all costs if you are a landlord

If you are a landlord I would not recommend Leaders. Go with a local company instead. Our experience was really terrible. The communication between landlord, tenant and agent the worst I’ve ever experienced. We never seemed to have the same property manager and they never returned emails in a timely manner or with anything that made sense in their emails. Our tenants were left without heating for 6 days in the winter due to their lack of of comms. Works were left outstanding for months and they let the tenants contract slide without informing us it has gone into a rolling contract. Eventually we complained to customer service who allowed us to exit the contract without having to pay a withdrawal fee and during that process a member of their staff (unintentionally) shared a contract with us that wasn’t even ours!! Our experience was a sham. They just don’t seem to care about your property or the tenants at all. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Luton Leaders are the worst agents

Luton Leaders are the worst agents, though they are unprofessional as well they are mannerless , rude, disgusting behaviour people's.. agent Bilal wad too rude and arrogant ,they are racist and won't care about anyone's problems. We booked a booking by leaders of one house, that house was not so secured and no parking, we were giving amount more than our possibility as we were in urgency. But Bilal was not so interested to show us any other properties.. on face he shared his phone number and later he denied to pick up our call, and when we called to luton leaders agency Richard ; he said u disappoint Bilal and he is very upset as u didn't like the property .Like seriously; if we are paying the cost it's our right to choose the property it's not depends on so called Bilal mood that he was upset of wasting his time... These guys have no values and ethics.And later on when I visited their office , Bilal was ignoring me and when I confront him to ask show me other properties he said u cant afford . As I was offered him more than £2000.But these guys are disgusting, Luton leaders needs change their staff... because they won't be changed their behaviour.. I suggested and keep on suggesting don't take property from Luton town centre Leaders. And later make fun of me

Do not recommend

Seriously, I don't recommend this letting company. My experience renting through them in April was very disappointing and bad. I didn't receive the professional assistance I needed, and it seems they may hide things from tenants. They rushed the payment and signing of the tenant agreement. During the viewing, they assured me everything would be clean, but it wasn't when I moved in. Additionally, they claimed there was a garage but couldn't show it to me because they didn't have the key. When I requested the garage number be added and amend the move in date (move it date was past) to the agreement, they said it couldn't be changed. I don't understand why they couldn't accommodate such a simple request in an unsigned agreement. They explained it was a general tenancy agreement, not personalized for me. There are many more issues I could mention, but in short, I do not recommend using their services. A reminder from my experience: don't trust any agent blindly and read the inventory list and tenant agreement carefully.

Whereas Leaders as a national letting agency do leave a lot to be desired, there are some outstanding members of their staff who are the sole reason I stay with themLucy Stephens is one of these members of staff who looks after my interests in the New Milton area and I cannot praise her highly enough.She certainly goes that extra mile for me and I hope she knows how much I value our relationship.I also hope you remain with them for few years Lucy!!!She is part of the teams in New Milton and Christchurch whose members are great individuals.Frankly I feel Leaders are very lucky to have them on board.

Moved in to an apartment with mold

Moved in to an apartment with mold, no blinds etc amongst other faults.On exit, Charlotte claimed almost 2x of the £700 deposit as a petty tactic so that negotiations will bring it closer but still above the £700 mark so we would have to forfeit the entire £700 anyway.Chatlotte also did not mention the 90 day deadline to raise a dispute with TDS or else the money goes back to the Landlord (which it did eventually as they planned)Lethargic response to repairs and petty negotiation tactics without fairness and justice from the team especially Charlotte left a bitter taste.

Lorena was the one to contact me with the opportunity for viewing, after someone had cancelled. She’d thought about getting in touch which was a touching step, she obviously cares about her clients. She has supported me through the application process and stayed available to support me with every step. We had a trail of 30 emails and she replied to each and every one within 5 minutes. Amazing.
