We couldn’t have been happier with Alexander and Co. Amelia worked with us for weeks to find the right house for us. We had an ever changing list and were quite fussy at times about specific details. We never felt like this was an issue and that no problem was too big. The team was patient and supportive through the process. As a buyer, we’d wholeheartedly recommend them.

I rent my current property from Macintyres and have had an excellent 5* experience. All staff have been amazing and very professional. I have to mention Olivia in particular who met me at the property to view it. Olivia has since been my main point of contact and always very efficient and helpful - nothing has been too much trouble and always quick to respond to my emails. Becky and Tracey were also very efficient and professional when I collected my keys and the whole procedure went very quickly and smoothly. I highly recommend Macintyres.

What can we say??? Macintyers made our house dream come true!! We would highly recommend them from the initial house viewings with Terry to conversations we then had with Martin. We bought through Macintyers and in the future would certainly look into buying and selling via them. Martin is the best! He kept the hope going in our house purchase and gave up lots of his time to reassure us things were going to be ok, he answered all our questions in a realistic and professional manner while at times taking on the role of keeping us in the loop with the whole process and communicating with everyone in a diplomatic way and keeping everyone smiling! The vendor was a building company which made negotiating more difficult ,we also had to enter the property several times regarding quotes for repairs. Macintyers were very communicative and reassuring throughout our first house purchase. Towards completion, however, there were various miscommunications between us, Macintyers and the vendors. For example, instead of explaining to the vendor that we were arranging callback with solicitors to verify deposit bank account details (to eliminate the risk of fraud vis-a-vis email scammers taking house deposits), as well as the existence of 24-hour internet banking payment limits for large transfers, the vendors were informed by Macintyers that we were hesitating/dragging our heels. Fortunately we had exchanged contact details with the vendors, so were able to untangle items which had been 'stirred up', and proceed amicably.

As a Canadian who lives in Canada, I was left with the task of finalizing my mother's estate which included property in Helmdon. Time difference and long distance made this a daunting task.
