i've been supporting my parents in dealing with this company and their affiliated partners. I know the property industry has a very poor perception and my experience with them has made it very clear why this is. Lack of communication whether that be trying to speak with someone, response to email or just having a statement sent with no reasoning or context.

GoogleUPDATE November 2021: Make them your GoTo team. After many decades managing our house for letting, Macintyers is selling it for us. We are receiving continued 5-star support. They found a qualified buyer within one week of marketing it. Their superb marketing materials, excellent preparations and showing staff, and unrivaled local knowledge were instrumental. Ben and James in Sales are best in the business and keep us informed at every step. Kyisha in property management provides amazing, personalized support. We reside overseas and Kyisha has gone above and beyond to maintain our now vacant house in top condition while also collecting and paying house related bills on our behalf. You simply can't find a better organized more professional full service estate agent. Original Review Years Ago: Absolutely outstanding management and support to both landlords and tenants. Macintyers have been letting agents of our rental property for almost 30 years. This is important since we reside overseas. They handle all matters including tenant contact, regular property inspections, maintenance/repairs/improvements, record keeping and monthly statement posting, income distribution, and maintenance payments. Tenants say they are happy and we are very happy with Macintyers personal yet professional and responsive approach to lettings management.

GoogleWe let a commercial property through Alexander & Co which has a number of different units and tenants, so not the most straight forward property to manage but the team and in particular Annie Sparks is exceptional and i couldn't recommend her and her team more highly

GoogleWe recently ended our rental journey with A&Co and although the lettings team were fine throughout the term, besides frequent staff changes which now make sense, at the end it all went a bit wrong. We bought a house and it all went a lot quicker than planned meaning for a while we were renting and paying a mortgage which is fine, we expected that could happen. However, as soon as we let the agency know, it seemed like the landlord was always their ultimate priority. They didn't seem to be aware of current laws, I.e not being able to force the tenant to carry out a paid professional clean. They also didn't seem to take into account the results of the 6-monthly inspections that took place meaning that for a good while we were facing demands that the house NEEDED a full deep clean including carpets by a professional company, questions about rusty rads being repainted before we left, among other things. I was registered as a vulnerable person with mental health issues so they would have been aware that the unnecessary stress wouldn't and be handled well. I also fully believe that an agency is supposed to act as the middle ground between tenant and landlord, standing for what is right legally and morally, not just siding with a landlord because they pay their fees. I'm sure that the lettings team at Brackley will have reasons for why they acted the way they did but from a professional standpoint - it left a lot to be desired. Upon finishing my tenancy with them I am certainly relieved I don't have to deal with an agency ever again.

GoogleI registered with Alexander and Co lettings in brackley two months ago.They seem absolutely determined NOT to inform me of any properties they know are suitable for me.There have been 2 properties in the last few weeks ideal for me and they havent informed me of either.I feel they are discriminating against me as I am registered disabled and on long term sickness benefits.I cant think of any other reason they are being like this with me.when they were Macintyres they were brilliant.Macintyres found me somewhere to live within days of registering with them and i lived at that property for a whole eight years.Not happy at all with Alexander and Co.
