I admit I was sceptical when Alexander’s took over responsibility, but since Annie has been there, her and the lettings team have been really helpful and supportive, that we had no hesitation in asking Annie’s advice, about a new property we were looking to purchase. Annie really makes us feel confident about continuing with her to let and manage the new property.

Martin Goulder has been extremely professional, from the initial property valuation meeting right through to the end of the sales process. I've had to give 1 star as i'm unable to leave 0. Possibly the worst company we've dealt with. Absolute 0 care given about tenants. Don't reply to calls or emails, shocking customer service, avoid at all costs. You have been warned!!!! I would give a more scathing review but i do not want to invest anymore of my time in this poor company!!

So far I can say the service by Annie and the team has been excellent, they advertised and found a quality tenant to move into my property very quickly and took care of all the necessities. What can I say….. I had sold a house with Macintyers in the past and Martin was fantastic then so we came back to Martin at Macintyers recently to sell again and are so happy that we did. Due to problems elsewhere in the chain, the transaction was not an easy one and was against the stamp duty holiday clock! We have absolutely no doubt that without Martin’s knowledge, experience, professionalism, diplomacy, communication skills and sheer tenacity the whole chain would have collapsed. He is simply the best!! The whole team at Macintyers are friendly, helpful, responsive, professional and just fabulous. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Completed a purchase via Macintyers today, I actually can't fault any of the team for the service they provided for this, communication and professionalism excellent as always. Martin has assisted us with a few of our properties both buying and selling, our latest property purchase went smoothly and we can't recommend Macintyres enough. Right from the offset with covid restrictions in place Martin and Terry made us feel at ease with the many viewings we requested due to wanting trades people to visit the property for quotes and so forth, nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for an Estate Agency to sell your property, I highly recommend Macintyers. The service I received was excellent, my property was photographed and marketed beautifully by Ben Macintyre and sold in 3 days for the full asking price. Martin Goulder handled my sale and was exemplary, he kept me informed of the progress of my sale with frequent, non intrusive communications. He is very personable, not at all a ‘smarmy’ type of Estate Agent and has a great sense of humour. Martin has been extremely determined and has done everything he could possibly do to get our chain moved. Their service, professionalism and communication throughout the whole process was excellent. At the outset, Peter provided a realistic valuation and managed our expectations regarding a potential sale. This was closely followed by a number of viewings after which we received immediate and comprehensive feedback from James before accepting an offer within just a few weeks. From that point we have been kept fully informed about progress with regular communications from the after sales team and catch ups with Peter and Martin. There were complications with purchasers solicitors being unhelpfully slow and intransigent but Martin was on to them on a regular basis making sure things were kept going, and whats more he called us with regular updates when promised....good old fashioned service sadly missing from the larger chains. The end of the tenancy cannot come soon enough

i've been supporting my parents in dealing with this company and their affiliated partners. I know the property industry has a very poor perception and my experience with them has made it very clear why this is. Lack of communication whether that be trying to speak with someone, response to email or just having a statement sent with no reasoning or context. They deduct monies for "free quotes" to the tune of several hundred pounds and do not respond when asked for clarity. on top of all this they seem to be ignorant of what information they have or need, make 11th hour demands for documentation and are somewhat economical with the truth. Look Elsewhere!
