I have been renting with Alexander and co for a year now. The process to view the property and get the documents sorted went smoothly, as was getting the keys and moving in. Over the year, we reported a few issues with the property and most were resolved but not as quick as we’d have liked especially as we had a leak and it took 3-4 weeks to get fixed. Since having Hannah as our property manager in January, everything has been a breeze and she has gotten every problem sorted very quickly always giving us prompt updates as to what is happening. We renewed our property for another year and thanks to Hannah, this went through so quickly and smoothly. Very happy

Used Alexander’s 4years ago well pleased with the service unfortunately we didn’t manage to sell no fault of Alexander’s the bottom dropped out of the market . On deciding to sell again I followed my instinct and used Alexander’s again to try to sell my house we was introduced to a agent called James Butler and team who came round and reassured us that we would sell this time . James was as good as his word he gave it 100% and within a couple of weeks we were sold (we had plenty of viewings as well ) The price was what we asked for and completely hassle free thanks to James and his team All the information was relayed to us by email and phone to keep us up to date as they happened The other side to the business was the buying side for myself which was also first class we had plenty of viewings I like to thank that team as well Would definitely use Alexander’s again with James at the helm

I would like to express my thanks to Hannah Rawlings from the Brackley office for her professionalism and support through what has been a long and very difficult sale. She was always prompt in answering queries and dealing with ongoing issues. My only criticism would be that James Butler did not point out during the initial sales process the potential delays and extra costs with selling a leasehold property to a buyer requiring a mortgage. Forewarned is forearmed.

I have telephoned this company 4 times. Yes they called me this morning 5 times, one after another as my phone record shows in the space of seconds!! Following this I rang them again and spoke to a very helpful lady who promised to get the person who made the calls me to call me again. That was over five hours ago and still nothing. My enquiry was about a property I was interested about in Buckingham and I guess has now gone hence no call back. Reading previous other reviews why should I not be surprised? Read all the reviews, the warnings are there! What a bunch of amateur cowboys!

Let me say that I have links with Macintyers, however I think it is important to add that, having purchased 4 years ago from another agent the level of support and professionalism Martin and the team gave during my sale and purchase was on a much higher level. I recently, very recently approached staff at Alexander & Co concerning the letting of my property. Within two days (yes only two days!) Annie Sparks and her team had taken photo`s, put my property on-line and had several viewings lined up. Within a week they had let my property, taken care of all the checks required, and found me a great tenant! I cannot recommend Annie and her team at Brackley high enough. What can I say….. I had sold a house with Macintyers in the past and Martin was fantastic then so we came back to Martin at Macintyers recently to sell again and are so happy that we did. Due to problems elsewhere in the chain, the transaction was not an easy one and was against the stamp duty holiday clock! We have absolutely no doubt that without Martin’s knowledge, experience, professionalism, diplomacy, communication skills and sheer tenacity the whole chain would have collapsed. Completed a purchase via Macintyers today, I actually can't fault any of the team for the service they provided for this, communication and professionalism excellent as always. If you are looking for an Estate Agency to sell your property, I highly recommend Macintyers. The service I received was excellent, my property was photographed and marketed beautifully by Ben Macintyre and sold in 3 days for the full asking price. Martin Goulder handled my sale and was exemplary, he kept me informed of the progress of my sale with frequent, non intrusive communications. He is very personable, not at all a ‘smarmy’ type of Estate Agent and has a great sense of humour.
