GoogleWouldn't recommend this estate agent, rude staff and tried to charge us lots on our check out. Managed to get this down to a reasonable amount through disputing and tried to raise it with TDS, they told us would take 10 working days. Waited 17 working days only for them to tell us they have up to 3 months to raise it. Then didn't raise it and settled within the estate agents. Managed to bring down the check out costs down by about £400. Take lots of pictures when you move in, of absolutely everything and save them for when you move out.

GoogleWarning to potential tenants. Team are all friendly and supportive whilst you are looking to rent but as soon as you're in the service lacks all manner of support. They also do their utmost to prevent retuning your deposit when leaving, resulting in a dispute via TDS (I know of others having faced the same). Be warned and record/take as many pics when you first enter your rental, these will be needed at a later date. Or avoid and use another company and save yourself future hassle

As others have warned take date stamped photos of everything and insist on being present at checkout (something unsurprisingly they try to discourage) WILL try to take your deposit with checkout reports to rival war and peace in their length and fictitious content. Staff are incredibly rude and condescending. Didn't do anything about mould reported in rooms (to be fair they didn't do anything about ANYTHING reported!!) My advice- use another letting agency.

GoogleOver the past 12 year as I have bought two flats in separate blocks which were coincidentally already Managed by House & Son. I have experienced the worst customer service, the slowest responses to all forms of correspondence, constant failure to hit project timeliness and complete disregard for landlord's property. Strangely enough House & Son is extremely punctual when it comes demanding payments and great at holding on to cash that is assigned for 'planned' work. We are currently looking for a new Managment Company to complete maintenance that is now overdue by 12 months. GoogleI sometimes take a look in House and son Estate agents window to see whats for rent and for sale..its at the Lansdowne just along from the bingo hall..some years back i put my home on the market with them..they found a buyer for me..but unfortunately the sale dragged on for almost 6 months and the staff at house agents didnt chase it up much at all..then the lady pulled out l week short of 6 months and landed me with a solicitors bill for nothing!! They realised the same lady buyer had done the same thing to another client..so i can only blame the agents for being too slow..and i wouldnt use them again..Not recommended..
