GoogleNo complaints about Keenans. The whole team I dealt with through the process have been great. Abbie the individual i dealt with who made every effort to stay in touch, keep me updated and just the friendly voice on the end of the phone you need when you have difficulties with solicitors. She took the time to advise and explain any questions i had no matter how often i mithered her she still made the time to speak with me. She kept professionalism throughout every contact we had. Without Abbie i feel i would have lost the plot from pulling my hair out with the solicitor i used. When we went to collect our keys from completion Abbie wasnt in the office however the serveral staff that was in the office were all welcoming. Friendly smiles and helped share the excitement to getting the keys to our first home. Thanks everybody at Keenans.

Lorraine is pushy encouraging you to go ahead when everything isn’t in place yet, you feel pushed into it and not secure, doesn’t care about anyone aslong as she gets the money.

GoogleLewis Usher at Keenan’s has been exceptional. Right from the very beginning he has been proactive, available to talk, quick at responding to emails, professional, friendly and dedicated. Overall I am extremely happy with the outstanding level of service provided by Lewis. One of the biggest reasons for me is Lewis has made a conscious effort to keep me in the loop throughout the process and offered invaluable advice and support for what became a difficult transaction. Lewis was on point at all times, was very knowledgeable, kept abreast of what was going on, wasn’t afraid to step in when needed and often went above and beyond to make the transaction move along to completion and remove the blockers. He was honest and transparent and I trusted Lewis which made the process a lot easier for me and less stressful. It goes without saying that Lewis is an an absolute credit to Keenan’s and without him my purchase would not have been possible. A massive thank you to Lewis for everything, I am very grateful. We chose Keenans Rawtenstall to sell our house primarily because of their competitive fees. Looking back, I wish I had done more research beforehand.

GoogleWe did not feel supported by Ella. We constantly had to chase everything and felt she never pushed anything forward. She was off work on two occasions and did not respond to e mails in a timely manner. Alicia supported us on one occasion when Ella was off and she was brilliant. We felt that driving sales was not one of Ellas strengths. We have sold and bought houses over the years and have never felt dissatisfied with an estate agent previously. I would never use Keenan's to represent me in any future sales or purchases.

Low in honesty and integrity as per review 12 Dec 2023. Really not self aware and manager who deals with complaints is just defensive (and doesn't follow ombudsman code of practice where you should be told how to appeal) Follow up to complaint was ignored so no choice but to refer to ombudsman and ICO. They ignored both of these until money awarded. Then they defended their position. Paid out after being chased as expected.An apology and flowers would have surficed 12 months ago but no....shame it came to this.Edit: keenans's response; great to finish off with their sense of humour out there....lol....

Dennett, as much as we appreciate feedback both good and bad we feel it’s only fair that this feedback is accurate. You have sold multiple properties over the years with ourselves, and have never had an issue until payment of our fee. Our complaints procedure is transparent and has not been an issue for any of the parties you have approached to investigate, all of which we are more than happy to co-operate with. Your eventual downgraded award of a mere £75 was based upon a technicality which after a drawn out process of over 12 months we obliged to pay, to draw a line under the matter, we really do feel it’s time to move on - yet you still wish to continue. We wish you the best of luck in the future sale of any property, but for the best interest of all parties involved sadly we won’t be representing yourself again.

Emma and the team at Swinton were excellent from start to finish. We had a lot of issues crop up during the purchase of our first home and we genuinely don’t think this purchase would have happened without the effort and dedication from Emma and the team. Our solicitor let us down a lot, but Emma and the team stepped up and went above and beyond to make sure we got our dream home! We found Emma to be extremely knowledgable and she explained everything to us in detail, which was needed given this was our first home. Emma worked tirelessly and answered our queries, no matter what time of day and even stayed late quite often just to make sure things were moving. We were kept updated throughout the process, which we really needed given our Solicitors weren’t that helpful. The client care and pro activity was excellent. We had a loss in the family during the process and Emma was so kind and helpful. We even received some flowers from the team. It was great to know we were in such good hands whilst we were going through such a difficult time.We can’t recommend the team at Keenan’s Swinton enough. Thank you to Matt, who showed us round the house numerous times and even gave us some good tips on DIY! To to all the ladies in the office; Kayleigh, Ellie, Nikki, Georgia thank you for the support it was amazing! You always responded to our queries promptly and were extremely helpful. Finally, thank you to Emma. You are an absolute credit to Keenan’s. We are so happy in our new home and we would not be here without you!

Our experience of buying a property through Keenan’s was not good. We recommend that if you use this company, check and double check any information provided and anything you might think has been omitted. Not as trustworthy as they want you to think. We were led to believe that the property we were purchasing was unoccupied and consequently there was no chain. It was only when I complained that I found out that the property was occupied and there was a chain. I had made it clear from the outset that as we were moving from Scotland where the house market is much more efficient we needed a quick move. That did not happen. My calls were not returned by Ella on many occasions and instead I received sloppy texts. We ended up having to stay in temporary accommodation at great expense ta ourselves.

She kept me updated about things on a daily basis and made sure my sale went through without any issues! She is a credit to the company and I wouldn’t hesitate using Keenan’s again if everyone provides service like Melissa does
