the worst estate agents going

the worst estate agents going, unprofessional, rude and lies, we have enquired about several properties and always get told there are no more viewings or they have several offers, we enquired about a property this week and got told it was still available and they would get someone from the Rochdale office to call us back this never happened we just got an email back saying there was offers on the property always excuses from this company, the staff are rude tell lies and never return your calls, i feel that we are being discriminated against because we have had to complain, the owners of this estate agents need to get things sorted as i am now considering going to the ombudsman about them, the managers always cover things up. i will guarantee if i am lucky enough to get a reply they will use there famous words WE DON'T SEEM TO HOLD YOUR CONTACT DETAILS OR NO RECORD OF YOU. Keenans Estate Agents were recommended by a friend who had just sold with them. We booked an appointment for a valuation. George arrived on time. He was friendly and knowledgeable about properties and their value. He suggested a price & said he was confident that we would achieve the asking price as there was nothing locally that offered what our property had. We went into their Accrington shop to see if the rest of the staff were as good as George. They were very good so we signed to put our property on the market straight away. A nice young man came to take photos within a few days. We left viewings to their staff. A bloke called Chris showed people round , and then he gave us feedback. Our property sold straightway for the full asking price. We were then transfered to Kieran in the conveyancing team. Keiran rang to introduce himself & he explained that not a lot happens for several weeks, then it was about 6 weeks before we started getting intermittent updates on the sale progress. Around week 9 we received more regular updates . We had left a few messages but didnt not receive call backs. On week 12 there was a miscommunication so we went into the shop to speak to Keiran in person. We were not happy that our calls had not been returned. Keiran apologised & said that he had not received the messages. He went to the trouble of ringing our buyers solicitor and sorting out the issue immediately and managed to secure a promise to exchange contracts that week. We have been very pleased with Keenans estate agents from the first enquiry as to their services to completion on week 14. They are a young , enthusiastic team who certainly know how to sell a property. We would highly recommend Keenans Estate Agent services in Accrinton.

Things got better with the sales progression team.

Little disappointed at the start as we had viewers coming round who were not in a position to buy, one hadn’t even got their house up for sale! Once we had accepted an offer, Liam was our only contact with Keenans, he did his best to keep the sale progressing despite a few difficulties which caused significant delays.
