Shocking,unprofessional service!

My whole experience with Keenans Blackburn was shocking! I was in the process of buying a property and at the start they couldn't do enough for me. Once the offer was in they never returned calls or emails. When I did speak to them they were rude and unprofessional and wouldn't even allow me a second viewing for weeks after I had made the offer. Then Lauren tried bullying me into exchanging contract before survey in and lied and said it may go to sellers family member (solicitor said there was no family member). Then the builders survey came back and the property needed a new roof,chimney and full of damp and Keenans told me to ignore the surveyor! I told them to shove the sale and I have walked away and dodged a bullet!

I called Blackburn branch to make a viewing instead i had someone called Jonathan Berry push me into selling a property with keenans once he found out that I'm selling with your move.So rude absolutely disgusting the way he spoke to me. Instead he starts telling me negative things about your move and that I should look to get keenans inIf i wanted keenans to sell my property i would call them. I simply called to book a viewing for a property on the market?!When asked for his name he pretends the line is breaking up and that he cannot hear me.NOT PROFESSIONAL, POOR SERVICE absolutely DISGUSTING!I’ve heard negative feedback from sellers however this poor service i have witnessed myself.Unlucky Jonathan is unaware the call was recorded when he starts getting rude!I will be making a formal complaint!Avoid Keenans!

Fantastic service provided by the whole team. Selling my house through them was easy, smooth and quick as they make a real effort to market their properties. This is the second time I used them, both sales were excellent and quick. Following on from an agreed sale I was kept fully upto date with the progress regularly, I never needed to chase Keenans, unlike other estate agents involved in my chain. Particular thanks to Sophie who demonstrated brilliant customer service but also had time to listen, especially as moving home can be stressful without throwing covid-19 into the mix. She made the situation a lot less stressful. Thanks to the whole Keenans team, both Blackburn and Accrington branches. I would highly recommend them.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Although I am not currently selling my property with Keenans, before I accepted an offer I had called them to make enquiries about switching to them. I spoke to Jonathan who was so helpful and gave me all the advice I needed. Jonathan calls me weekly to check on the progress of my sale even though it is with another Estate agent (who I have to constantly ring and email to get information) I have another house that will be going up for sale soon and I will definitely be using Keenans. Jonathan and the team are very friendly and professional so i am actually looking forward to selling the next house with them!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

A very positive experience of selling our home

We have recently sold our home of 44 years with Keenan’s. It had previously been marketed by another Agent with no sale. From the first visit Sam inspired confidence in the possibility of a sale and suggested it was marketed at a higher price than previously. Throughout the whole process we were very impressed by Sam , Abbey and the team at Chorley. We loved the promotional ‘walk through’ video and then we waited for the phone to ring....and ring it did. In the first two weeks we had seven viewings and three families who wanted to purchase the property. We were offered the full asking price by a lovely family looking for a new home - and cash buyers. Once the sale was agreed we were contacted weekly by the office and at every stage the staff were always there for us at the end of the phone. We could not have asked for more from our estate agent. If you are thinking of selling or buying a home look no further. Keenan’s is the agent to go for!

Efficient, organised and professional

I can see there some negative review on here, but I have nothing but praise for Keenans. From start to finish they have been brilliant. Paul from the Rochdale branch kept us informed all the way through to our sale. Ken who oversaw the viewings and Liam at the Accrington branch who consulted with us until completion. They have been efficient, organised and professional throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you Kennans!! You made our sale so stress free. 😊

A well organised and helpful team at keenans. I was sent an email which matched my criteria of what I am looking for.I was given a viewing appointment pretty much straight away that week without any fussing. James was very helpful showing me around the property he was very polite and positive. Even though the property got sold for a higher price I was told I would still be sent new properties which matched my criteria.

Keenans replied to my prior review saying "Compliance" was an issue when it was not.All Compliance issues were sorted up to 24 October.As for Valuation, another reason Keenans gave for withdrawing under criticism? Never discussed Valuation in four weeks of dealing with Keenans.A bizarre and unexplained sequence of events if ever. Buyer beware...

I had to put 1 star on to be able to write this review but it doesn’t deserve any. We recently pulled out of a purchase of a house with Keenans Swinton branch as the customer service from Aimee was absolutely terrible, we wasn’t allowed a second viewing to show the children until we had our survey done and when we tried to explain she told my partner “to cut to the chase’, when my partner told her how rude she was and that her customer skills was terrible she said that she’s done her job and that was to sell a house. Well I’m sorry but Aimee is the reason we pulled out of the sale, they are not having our custom. Stay clear.

Bad property. Bad agent. Bad attitude.

Me my wife and child arrived early to view a property so we decided to have a look round the local area.Upon walking down a guinnel at the side of the house I noticed that the property was very grotty from the back.I decided to open the gate at the front and have a look. The lawn at the side was covered in pieces of brick and debris. The fence at the back was 8 feet tall and the struts imposed into the back garden so it was basically unusable. Upon returning to the front the agent was just arriving. He then had the audacity to tell me I was trespassing. He continued to be hostile for the rest of the visit and he made me and my wife very uncomfortable. There were no pictures of the gardens on the website and I'm glad I looked.I would advise other people to turn up early and look round as you never know what they may be hiding from you.I have never dealt with Keenans before and I am discouraged from dealing with them again.

Avoid this estate agent at all cost. Don’t be hooked in the overly confident sales person. You will regret it afterwards. There a sales estate woman on the phone named Kayleigh is awful to speak to. Absolutely rude and extremely pushy to the point I feel awfully pressured to do whatever they want which is a cheap quick sale and get their commission. If I could rate this ZERO stars I would!I will NEVER use this estate agent again. AVOID!

Well where do I start? I have a plethora of issues with this estate agents and so does my family. Upon our first visit we were shown around the house and it was lovely. You ask the bog standard questions and then we proceeded to go into the garden. We stated we thought it was small and the guy who showed us around said the garage straight ahead also belonged to the property, well he thinks........ I'm not being funny but if your selling a house you should know the ins and outs of a ducks bum with regards to the property. We called up a couple Of days later to see if they had confirmation with regards to the bit of land and apparently they would give it too us if we paid more. That was absolutely fine by us as we loved the house and loved the fact it had a plot of land which was a massive selling point. We arranged another viewing so we could get the measurements for the house and too see the land out the back as he diddnt have the keys last time (unprofessional I know) We arrived at the house ready to do what we had to get done and as we were looking over the fence to the plot of land an old couple who were neighbors told us the land belonged to some one else! And it was the garage to the left! The guy who showed us around called someone and the person he called confirmed it was the the garage to the left which was a decrepid old shed...... Nothing else, paying thousands more on the house for that! After that we had had enough, we would of bought that house on the basis it came with the land and gone over our budget and would of been miss lead. I would not recommend this incompetent company who know absolutely nothing about the houses they sell.

I put my house on the market with Keenans on 12th Dec and within a month we had received around 20 viewings and had 4 asking price offers on the table. (We have recently accepted an offer for OVER asking price.) We have been thoroughly impressed with the service from Keenans Accrington, especially Johnathon whom has gone above and beyond. From the photography, account management service, viewing representatives and in general their customer service, Keenans have completely out shone other estate agents we have used previously. Should we decide to sell our home in the future, i will only choose Keenans and will continue to highly recommend them to those i know.

I purchased a house for sale with Keenan’s. Everyone involved was polite and helpful, returned calls when they said they would and kept me updated. Jack managed my purchase and I cannot fault his service. Never pushy with me and knew where the process was upto and when help from myself with solicitors etc was needed. Would highly recommend (I know you don’t get to choose who you purchase with but if this is the service when buying I’d anticipate equally good service when selling).
