GoogleI purchased a house for sale with Keenan’s. Everyone involved was polite and helpful, returned calls when they said they would and kept me updated. Jack managed my purchase and I cannot fault his service. Never pushy with me and knew where the process was upto and when help from myself with solicitors etc was needed. Would highly recommend (I know you don’t get to choose who you purchase with but if this is the service when buying I’d anticipate equally good service when selling).

GoogleLiam at keenans was brilliant at keeping in touch with us and helping with an enormous legal problem we had with the property we were selling and they were not even our agents, they were the agents for property we were buying but even so they did more than our own agents and kept us in the loop way more than any of the solicitors. The estate agents at keenans were incompetent luddites who slowed down our process of buying a house immensely and almsot caused the entire sale to fall through. They took forever to respond to e-mails (if they ever even did), ignored questions and left out key information, delayed passing time sensitive information from the sellers to us, and overally made the experience a nightmare

GoogleDishonest and play the game. I put an offer in for a property, they got back to me saying the vendor had agreed sale and there'll be no more viewings. I advised to be 100% sure as I will be going back to my solicitor and pulling out of the purchase of another property. They said yes Vendor is 100% going with you. Called my solicitor to arrange everything and start proceedings only to get a call from Keenans 15 minutes later saying "oh we've just received another offer" and then trying to get me to increase my offer. I'm sorry; I don't care what the law says about what's technically legal, Estate agents should do more to promote honesty and promote vendors sticking to their word and not play the game. If you want to wait for more offers, then fair enough, wait until you are totally satisfied, but don't agree the sale to one buyer only to revert afterwards for a better offer, and then say "nothing is legally binding until contracts have been exchanged". Keenans will blame the vendors for not keeping to their word after agreeing a sale but I believe they don't do enough to promote this honesty to their clients and they choose to play this game to increase their commission, and in the process play with people's feelings My advice - find a better agent... Update: - To top it off, I receive a letter through the door a week later confirming that my offer has been accepted by the vendors and to bring my documents to my nearest Keenan's branch. I immediately thought "this doesn't sound right". I called Keenan's who advised the letter had been sent in error. What a joke of a company!!!

Property sale in Rossendale. Lewis Chilton was out sales manager, very professional and was able to manage the chain with ease until completion. Excellent service. Kennans know the market very well. Kennans actually valued our property a lot higher than other agents, and were able to deliver a sale on that high valuation. This allowed us to achieve a healthy deposit for a beautiful new home much larger than we first expected.

GoogleExcellent service from start to finish, we dealt with Ella mostly and a couple of time Lewis, both very professional, helpful, particularly when we struggled getting solicitors, Ella chased them on several occasions. The house sold quickly and we were kept fully informed of clients going to view. Thank you, would definitely use again and would have no hesitation in recommending.

GoogleEarly stages with Keenans selling my property but from the first valuation I've found them very polite, professional and the viewings have been coming thick and fast which is really positive for such a short period as the last one had 3 viewings in about 2 months. Really pleased so far, just need to convert into some offers now and all good. Watch this space!!
