We were looked after by Alia, who was helpful, responsive and offered some brilliant insights into the local market - all of which was invaluable in our search. She was always available to answer our questions, even responding to emails late at night or early in the morning and would often go out of her way to arrange viewings or move them as circumstances dictated. Charles Carr themselves are one of the few agents who actually listen to your requirements and send you relevant properties. Their low pressure approach and excellent local knowledge means we would gladly look to use them in the future.

As a first time buyer I was completely new to the process and what to expect when putting offers forward etc but I had a few viewings with Lauren French and she was a star, she helped me out with what to expect and her advice was spot on! She knew exactly what she was talking about and put me in contact with a local solicitor and as a result I now have had an offer excepted and should be completing in the next week! As first time buyers we were very unfamiliar with what to look for and what to watch our for when looking around properties. Emma helped us to identify our requirements and then worked with us to make sure that the flat we found was right for us. Replies to enquiries were near instant, even when acting as a proxy between ourselves and the previous owner, which took away a great deal of stress from the process! It has been a pleasure dealing with all the staff at Charles Carr, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, buyer or seller.

Charles Carr were by far the most professional agency that we dealt with on our house hunt as first time buyers. Buying your first home is incredibly daunting but they made the whole process easy and straight forward. When we did spot a house that we felt was "the one" Luci in the Bitterne office went out of her way to arrange a viewing for us and even made sure everything was going ok on her day off - pretty incredible!! We got there eventually and we did buy the one! We cannot wait to our new little home now! A big thank you to all of the team, your hard work and numerous viewings you facilitated were greatly appreciated!

The viewing was an enjoyable experience as the agent allowed us freedom and independence to view the property, there was no pressure asserted at any point. The agent was warm, welcoming and very friendly and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at any point either. The agent was very informative of all aspects of the property and area and also answered all questions thoroughly. Overall I am very pleased so far with the service i have received.

Sam and Emma have been fantastic not only with the viewings of properties - knowing every detail about the property shows they've done their homework rather than just allowing the buyer to look around and ask questions, but also Emma's endless patience and prompt email responses to the plethora of questions that comes with being a first time buyer has made me feel like I'm being really supported.
