First of all - wow. What an establishment. Superhero Jamie Ashford swooped in to save my faith in humanity. After continuous let downs from other estate agents, I was beginning to think the human race was only out for itself… until we were introduced to the North Street branch of Ocean. Jamie handled our tenancy application with professionalism, speed and rigour, despite various setbacks on our end. We will be having a pint in the new flat in your honour, Jamie.

This is the third time that I have used Ocean property lawyers. Any questions which I had were answered and if they couldn’t answer them immediately, they rang back the next day to give me an answer. Kept informed at every stage. Just a good group of people to do business with from the receptionist right through to the manager. Would definitely use them again if I needed to without thinking twice..

We have been badly let down by Ocean Estate Agents in Bishopston. We tried to buy a house through them that we had seen through a different agent it had been on with previously. Due to laws in place, this means that the previous agent would be paid the selling fees. As you can imagine, this already put us in an unfairly negative position, & we were treated with contempt by Ocean from start to finish. In particular, Jason who handled our offer, failed to keep us updated even after offers & viewings, let us view the property even though it transpires the seller only wanted cash buyers, & treated us poorly. We are not confident that our offer was not downplayed to the seller, as Jason was very vocally aggressive and negative about the agents we were selling with, despite us having a great relationship with them. The reason for this is because ocean wanted us to switch to selling with them, to get our money. They have no respect for us, as keen potential buyers who did everything we were asked to, selling our house very quickly with barely any chain. They have made disparaging remarks about other agents, & have grossly mishandled the situation, putting us in an untenable position through no fault of our own. I would avoid Jason in future as his approach feels money focused rather than person focused, & he has caused my partner & I weeks of stress

Ocean got us a fantastic over asking price for our property and kept a pair of very stressed (and I’m sure at times, rather challenging!) sellers closely updated throughout the sale. Special thanks also to Lawrence, Joe and Charlie for getting our listing up so quickly and handling the viewings and negotiations. We would happily recommend using ocean to others.
