GoogleMy girlfriend and I were supposed to have a view of an apartment. We booked the appointment and on the date of the view we were told that the house was reserved and so not available anymore. The problem were that a) the agency told us that the house was not available anymore like an hour before the appointment and by email . b) We wanted to make a view of the house as soon as possible but we were told that the landlord was doing some redecorations , so the date we booked the appointment was the first available. We are really desappointed and we don’t recommend the agency to anyone .

GoogleI only wish I'd read all the other reviews before dealing with this shockingly unprofessional company. I'd recommend any of the other letting agents in Bishop's Stortford before this one. All you have to do is look at a comparison of reviews between PM Estates and other nearby letting agents to see why you should avoid them. UPDATE TO PM ESTATES RESPONSE: Your response is a blatant lie. I was never and have never been in rental arrears. My rent was paid on time each and every month. In fact you sent me a statement of the rent I'd paid up until June 2018 which shows each and every payment made when it should've been. I requested to leave the tenancy ONE MONTH early in June 2018. Which I paid £300 for the pleasure of doing so. The fact that you've lied in your response just shows what a terrible and unethical company you are. I suggest you look back at the statement you sent me and see that I was never in any rental arrears let alone 'substantial' ones. And I also suggest you amend your response to be honest and accurate as I'm sure you wouldn't like your company to end up with an even worse reputation than you already have. Like I said previously, all the other reviews really speak for themselves. In comparison to any other nearby lettings agents you have the worst feedback by far. An average rating of 2.6 stars from a total of 17 reviews is atrocious. Perhaps in future instead of responding by blaming the person who has had a bad experience with yourselves you should look at what your company is doing wrong and how it can improve. I'd also like to add that seeing as you've decided to use both my full name as well as my mothers in your response I'd like to name the inefficient people I had the most unfortunate dealings with at your company. They were: Daniel Hastings, Tracy French, Sarah Facey and Federica Petrocca.
Good morning Emmy (Emma Westbrook) We are sorry you feel that way and are unsure as to why you feel the need to write such a review. Emma you were in a fixed term tenancy agreement whereby you confirmed that you were in financial difficulty and wished to leave and break your contract. We approached your Landlord and put forward your situation whereby we negotiated on your behalf for you to be able to break your contract due to your extreme circumstances. Furthermore, we had various conversations with your Mother Anita Thompson that was trying very hard to assist you as you were in substantial rental arrears. Emma please note that you were not charged late rental administration fees or interest as we sympathised with your situation. We then managed to find suitable replacement tenants to allow you to break your contract although you were in breach of contract. Taking into consideration all the above and assistance that you have received in order to allow you to break your contract we are extremely disappointed that you felt the need to write such a review. If you wish, we are happy to go over the finer details, but I think if you seek legal advice it will be confirmed that your situation was dealt with in an amicable and professional manner. PM Estates

Always been straight up with me, accommodating and have helped me navigate various property related issues - big and small. Returned to the area in 2022 and went straight to PM Estates - who found me a better property than I was in previously for the same price. They will do what is required to get the job done for you. Never had any issues. Nice people who can be relied upon… a rarity these days.
