Thank God for intercounty

Thank God for intercounty, there should be more estate agents like them. I had gone to about 3 estate agents before intercounty and they were…you can fill in the gap ☺️. When I found a property I liked I was a bit skeptical about calling and viewing but I did and I’m now lounging on my sofa and sipping hot coco 😋. Mollie attended to me and made me feel like a superstar 😂. She was so friendly and professional I couldn’t believe people like her still existed. She was always in touch either by phone or email to keep me in the loop. I think she deserves a promotion 👍. Thank you Mollie and everyone working at intercounty Harlow branch, you guys are amazing 😊👏

The lettings team in Bishops Stortford are brilliant especially Reece and the 2 Harrys. I have used Reece and his team for several years and they have always found me good, reliable tenants. If I have any questions they answer them straight away, nothing is to much for them. The team are always polite, reliable and friendly and I would not use any other letting agent. I would recommend them to any new landlord, they will help you through the process and explain as they go. well done Bishops Stortford, the A team of lettings.

Me and my partner were renting for the first time and thought we would go to Intercounty as we have heard very good things about them. We dealt with Harry Stylianou and I cant praise him enough and the rest of the team for how helpful they are and still are. I purchased my property through intercounty a few years ago. I was really happy with the service so when I recently decided to lease it I went straight to them. We received very professional and helpful service from Kristy. She had been happy to answer all our questions before we decided to rent the flat. Kristy was very patient and friendly with us. I have used Intercounty a few times over the years, both the buy & rent. Both experiences where top class. Over the last few months Intercounty have helped me sell my property with exception ease, even during a global pandemic. The communication with their team is second to none, whether that be via email, phone or in person. Me and my boyfriend are first time renters and were looking for a place we could move into quick. Intercounty did exactly that! We were moved in within a month of viewing the property which was exactly what we wanted!Mollie at Intercounty was so helpful during our viewings and moving in. Intercounty Saffron Walden.

We recently purchased a house being sold by the Saffron Walden branch of Intercounty and could not be more impressed. Peter, Charlotte and Clare were absolutely fantastic. Peter was our main contact and so helpful throughout (we were first time buyers), he called each week to ensure we were happy and provide any updates, he chased the solicitors but most importantly it felt as though he cared, took any concerns we had seriously and was extremely reactive even on days off!!! What was also hugely impressive should Peter have been unavailable Charlotte or Clare would be more than happy to assist and knew exactly what was going on at all times. It was a pleasure dealing with the team at the Saffron Walden branch and I could not recommend them highly enough.

Don't waste your time with any other agent. Intercounty in Saffron Walden all the way

We chose Intercounty in Saffron Walden during the COVID crisis as we had decided to sell our buy to let; we wanted an estate agent that were still operating, responsive, picking up their phones and one that was motivated to sell our property, it may sound simple that you expect an agent to pick up their phones, but trust me, COVID did not prevent this branch from operating as if we were in normal times. Intercounty, namely Charlotte, Clare and Peter were absolutely amazing, communication was always open, honest and regular, text messages were sent to inform us of pending viewings and also a very useful market report was provided. I can't begin to describe how motivated the team in Saffron Walden are with buying/selling etc one's property, they literally do everything including chasing the chain, solicitors, making sure the vendor is updated and it's such a personalised service that you feel that they are very much part of your sale process. They give honest feedback, they provide rational to a vendor's irrational thoughts and are always open, honest and very transparent. I absolutely would recommend this team if you want honesty and reliability; also a team that care about what your trying to do with either your purchase, sale or even a let. Charlotte in particular who was our main point of contact was always available, phone, email and even after hours discussions. For me, when dealing with such an important decision and process in regard to houses, I sincerely trust this team to do the best for me; equally you can contact them even in times of crisis due to a delay in the chain or other house sale matters, they are always available.

Great team and great service

I have just completed the purchase of a property through the Saffron Walden branch. Throughout the process of looking for a suitable property, the Intercounty team of Abi and Clare stood out as they were really proactive and helpful in helping me find somewhere that would be right for me. This was a unique experience in a busy market where every other agency never seemed to do more than the bare minimum. Once I found the right property the team went the extra mile to help get everything sorted out. In particular Peter, was a real star in helping to solve any problems that came up along the way and was constantly supporting me to drive the process forward by liaising with all the associated parties in a really effective and professional way. George in Braintree Office on Different Level to Competition

I hardly ever write reviews and people are quick to complain and slow to give praise so I felt I had to do this review. I contacted all the agents in Braintree and surrounding area and by a country mile George at Intercounty was on a different level to the other agents I spoke to. Of course I want a much better property than I can probably afford, who doesn't but the help George gave me was the single best bit of advice I have been given. He was so knowledgeable about renting, asked me questions others didn't and suggested I write down a list of needs and wants explaining these are two very different things. He suggested that I should focus on my needs property wise and if he could find a property that covers my needs then the essentials are covered and I might be lucky enough with the odd want included. I told him in an ideal world I would like three bedrooms as my daughter lived with me and she had a car but I walked to work so I wanted plenty of parking. He then said ok thanks for that so let me explain what I mean. Ok you have a daughter that lives with you who drives, you walk to work in town so essentially your NEEDS ARE two bedrooms and parking for 1 car ideally within walking distance of town or close to a bus stop so you can get to work but you would like an extra bedroom and more parking if at all possible but overall the 3rd bedroom and parking for cars you do not have may not be essential so these become YOUR WANTS. He suggested I look at 2 bedrooms with parking as a starting point and maybe beyond if viable. I was amazed at the level head on his shoulders and wondered why I had never thought of it like that and why none of the other agents had got into my mind like George. I started to look at my way forward with a much clearer and with a realistic head on and indeed he is so right so rather than trying to find the impossible I am now looking at properties I can actually afford and as long as my needs are fulfilled any wants included will be an added bonus. Thanks George for focusing my mind you were so helpful and if at all possible it will be Intercounty I rent from and not one of the other agents.
