The team at Intercounty Bishop’s Stortford have been exemplary! Olivia, Helen, William, Harry and all the team are fantastic. I have also dealt with Marion and the team at Sawbridgeworth and they are equally as excellent. Clearly Intercounty’s standard is very high regardless of the branch you deal with. I really felt they were constantly and proactively searching to find me my perfect home for myself and my son unlike other agents. They were efficient, truthful and hard working. I won’t have any hesitation to use them on my next move.

You have been tremendously supportive and helpful throughout the process, always at hand when I needed to discuss items with you (or to vent my frustration with the Buyer's solicitors; glad I still have a head full of hair!). An excellent customer service is the number one job in any estate agents. And Helen, Jack and the rest of the Intercounty team have delivered this and more. Having to deal with a tenant whilst also arranging Sales viewings during the Covid pandemic would be a challenge for most people, but the Intercounty team weren't fazed by it. It was a good feeling to have received multiple offers within 10 days of the first viewing!

Doug Whybrow of Intercounty was exceptionally helpful with our move - we had consistent and accurate information and although there were some complications along the way Doug was always on top of things. Thank you to Ryan who has been dealing with my request to view a property. I had some questions about whether the landlord would allow Guinea pigs, as the advert didn’t state whether pets were allowed or not, to which he took my details and got back to me within a few days after the bank holiday weekend and booked my partner and I a viewing slot for the next day, sending through details quickly. Ryan has been very helpful and polite and has a very good telephone manner, not like some estate agents who can be quite abrupt and disinterested. There were many positive things that could be said about Intercounty previously but over the course of the last 12/18 months the service provided to landlords has fallen off a cliff. Multiple call and emails needed to actually get anything done, errors in payments and, oh when they decided to close an office and sell the rental book to another firm, informed me at 8.55am on the day the transfer took place.

Excellent marketing and customer service

We recently sold our property just outside of Saffron Walden with the assistance of Intercounty. We had tried a few other local agents previously but they put no effort in to try to sell the property, just waited for someone to look on Rightmove. The marketing was excellent and the photography was by far the best we had seen. Their communication between offices is what sold our house. We were kept up to date with progress especially as it got stressful at the very end of the process. Would definitely recommend.
