Agreed a fee for a letting and paid it. Then agreed the same fee for a second letting but they didn't tell me they had started to charge VAT in the meantime. So they held on to 20% that wasn't agreed. Took quite a bit of "backwards and forwards" to get it back but eventually did.Prior to this service was good.

Not a good experience with LV Property agents. I was interested in a property and booked a viewing with one of the agents and next day got an email from another agent saying that there is no availability for a viewing in that week to which I told her that I already got an appointment confirmation email. She then gave me reason and made me postpone the viewing for next week, (confirmed in the email) and when the day comes I called them to get the instructions to reach the property only to be told by the first agent (who picked the call) that no appointment was booked in our name. I have whole chain of emails from them for two-three weeks regarding this. And on the appointment day we were just 10-15 minutes away from the property and we travelled from a different city. This is highly unprofessional on their part. I don’t know why both their agents were not communicating amongst themselves and were not aware of each other’s appointment if they both were dealing with the same property. Such a waste of time and energy. I dropped the idea of going ahead with them and that property. If they are not organised in managing viewings, I do not trust them with my energy and time in the more rigorous processes involved at the later stages of purchase.

We had a really good experience with LV property. Having had experience of several other property agencies we both agree LV were very good and have a friendly chilled out service. I did think the agency fees were high for the type of property, rented flat, but that will be changing with the governments latest announcement.

I would never deal with LV property again in my life. Cow boy operation they give bad advise, customer service is 0/10. Cost my hundreds of pounds. They don't stick to what they agree and try and make you go for an expensive fully maintained package. The contractors they use are really really expensive.

Dear Indy,I have looked into your compliant and found the following to be the case.1. You agreed and signed our terms and conditions and then tried to change the length of the contract and our fee on 3 separate occasions. (We charge transparatly and this was agreed in writing) you were also given a small discount and then wanted a further discount after signing our terms and conditions.2. The statement above ‘’lost you hundreds of pounds’’ is a false one, had you been entitled to the deposit the DPS would have given your this when the dispute was raised however you can not deduct money for wear and tear from decent hard working tenants just because you fee the need to replace items in your property. We act for both the tenant and the landlord and never favour one over the other, even if it means we lose you as a client.Finally, we came to the conclusion that you are not the type of client that is fit for our agency, we pride ourselves on giving the best service and we are not the cheapest agency around and we never intend to be.Edwin Philips

We instructed lv to market our 3 bedroom apartment in the JQ after seeing 3 other local agents. We found the valuation to be realistic and on point with what we had already reseched, they came across highly knowledgable and experienced which in turn gave us the confidence in their ability to perform. We agreed a sale at the asking price after 3 weeks, this was all under their guidance, we could have accepted an lower offer but they advised us to wait as they were confident in getting the asking price. Well done and thank you for your efforts.
