The experience is great from this company, which is obviously very well run and continues to perpetuate great customer service and operational excellence and has done for over 3 years. Conrad Dobie is my contact and he always goes above and beyond expectations and delivers. Haven´t tried selling or buying property so my experience with this company is as a landlord.

The worst agency ever. Agents irresponsible and have no clue what are they doing at all. Only thing that we needed was to add one more tenant on our current contract. We applied two months ago, paid 500£ a month ago (which is ridiculous amount of money to add one tenant on a contract) and it is not settled yet. We've been in agency at least 5 times, we're calling every other day and every time we get different agent who has no idea what are we talking about. Because of their ignorance my fiancee cannot apply for NIN, cannot make bank account and cannot do anything in this country. When you see Martin & Co I sincerely recommend you to run! Ridiculous!

We have been trying to get viewings on rental properties with Martin & Co and they have messed us around so much. It's a nightmare trying to get a viewing to start with then the majority of those we managed to book got cancelled. We had one viewing that they just didn't turn up to. Today phoned up to confirm a viewing that had been rearranged from a cancelled one yesterday (they phoned to cancel at the time of the viewing when we had already left work and got to the house) and was told they had no record of a viewing being booked. Have had so much time wasted by them.

Would give 0 if I could. Have been a tenant in a rented property for over 2.5 years with these, and there's been a constant catalogue of errors that are frankly laughable. From giving my number to contractors after I've moved out, to taking over a week to fix a boiler and calling about a repair a year after initially reported and fixed (genuinely), they are by far the WORST agency I've ever dealt with. Not at all transparent with fees, ignore emails and even manage to screw up returning deposits by sending too much and asking me to return some. Laughable, nightmare and absolutely thrilled to not have to deal with this company again. AVOID.

Martin & Co is the first letting agent that hasn't made me angry. They were the first ones that I didn't feel were taking advantage of the situation, trying to make money in the checkout process. My experience with letting agents has always been bad as they always try to charge money for the most ridiculous things. The checkout process with Martin & Co has been very easy to do. I took photographs of the flat in case I needed to prove anything but that wasn't necessary because they were fair and professional with everything. The only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars is because when I was shown the property in 1 hagley road, they 'forgot' to mention that the windows don't open. I think that was a sale thing as they know people might be put off by that 'small' but quite important detail. I don't know if my decision would have changed but I think potential tenants should know all that there is to know before committing for a whole year. Anyway, Martin & Co is the only Letting Agency I'd happily go back to.
