GoogleHouse sale with Hunters Sutton Coldfield dealt with in an efficient and professional manner especially during this Covid period. Faye, Robyn and Kimberly were the people we dealt with both on the phone and in person during viewings. Great care was taken with social distancing and germ control during viewings. All seemed knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our property when dealing with prospective purchasers. Sound advice and communication throughout. Would use again for sure. GoogleHunters provided a friendly, helpful service. They were excellent in dealing with the purchase of our house, in particular Faye and Robyn.
When we were searching for a house, they would often call to recommend new houses that had come onto the market and were very proactive.

TrustpilotHunters Belmont Circle
Called Hunters Belmont Circle to arrange a valuation of my home. They asked me the reason for wanting to sell and when I told them it was because we're divorcing the representative immediately turned frosty and said they charge for valuations if your selling due to divorce. Imagine you're presented with a very devastating and traumatic life event, and then the pariahs come a hunting to see if they too can make a profit out of someone else's misery. Shameful.

TrustpilotWhy all the complications?
Tried to book a viewing online of a property in South Shields. I received multiple text messages and emails asking me to complete a further questionnaire before they could proceed. This questionnaire then appears to have prompted another questionnaire (with multiple further texts and emails), which looked like it was going to try and book me in for a property valuation of my current home. I decided instead to call and try and book a viewing. The gentleman who answered seemed thoroughly disinterested and told me viewings could only be booked for weekdays, and only during the hours of 9am to 5pm. I explained that I work during those hours (as most people do, I would suspect) and he said, 'Ok then, bye' and terminated the call. Not sure exactly how anyone is supposed to view a property with Hunters.

TrustpilotExtremely bad experience with Unprofessional and Rude people... Preston Road Wembley branch
Preston Road Wembley BranchI regret to say that my experience with your service has been extremely disappointing. The level of unprofessionalism displayed throughout the process was astounding. From misleading information to outright lies, it became clear that your team was not transparent or trustworthy from the start.Unfortunately, after the deal was finalized, your true nature became even more evident. The promises made prior to the transaction were not upheld, and your team showed a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I would strongly caution anyone against working with your company.Thank you for making this an experience I will never forget, but for all the wrong reasons.

GoogleI have had a fantastic experience letting my house for the first time through Hunters. I was very nervous at first but Sharon reassured me she would find the perfect tenants for my house, and she did indeed! Sharon is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, I cannot recommend her highly enough.

GoogleFaye and the team at Hunters were very professional, helpful and friendly during the sale of our House. Through difficult COVID-19 restrictions they did their best to make things run smoothly and made the process as safe as it could be.
Particular praise must go to Kimberley who was always very helpful and willing to take the time to explain things.

GoogleI rented a property through Hunters for the last year and have been disappointed with the way they allowed myself and my housemate to be treated. I rented a 2 bedroom property and was unable to use one of the bedrooms for 4 months because part of the chimney collapsed through the roof which caused leaking into the bedroom and light fitting in the bedroom. It took 12 weeks before anyone attended to perform the repairs and then a further 5 weeks for it to be completed. I am aware of an issue with the landlord's insurance and neighbor but do not understand how this could not be a serious issue. I requested alternative accommodation to be rejected and compensation offered would not have covered alternative accommodation or travel from my parent's house. I requested to leave the tenancy early and informed I would be liable for the fees until re-tenanted which would not have happened with a significant water leak. Their processes are not adequate and need to ensure events like this are prevented which contractors have informed myself 'I'm surprised it hasn't come down sooner'. When moving out of the property in August, the water leak issue has not been fully rectified on one edge with a wall. Finally, when moving out, there was a request for money to be fully deducted from the deposit when the check-out inventory listed 'cord broken due to stiff blind' and 'unable to determine [responsibility] and requested us to pay the full cost. I would not have had a problem if the cost was 50/50 between us and the landlord.

TrustpilotThank you so much to Rob
Thank you so much to Rob, I believe, that’s his name for going the extra mile to get my wristwatch fixed. It had unfortunately come apart whilst they were trying to install a battery. I am eternally grateful as the watch was special to me. They were most apologetic and ensured that everything was done to get the thing up and working. So once again thank you for your excellent customer service.100%

GoogleI have worked with Hunters-Sutton Coldfield for years as a landlord. Most recently having used Hunters to find a tenant for my flat. Sharon and Alison have been on the ball and supporting me as usual on every step. They marketed the flat as soon as it became available and started booking viewings so that there was little gap between my tenants. Fantastic work and a great team!

TrustpilotAbsolutely the worst estate agents
Absolutely the worst estate agents , I booked a flat viewing at 4:45pm on Friday evening , I was left a voice message in the morning asking if I couldn’t attend please let them know, I was attending so not necessary, I drove for 50 mins in rush hour traffic and got to the property about 4:47 pm 2 mins late, on the travel over I phoned up the company 4 times leaving messages saying I will be slightly late no answer, when I go to the property the agent wasn’t there , no phone call to my mobile at any point, I knocked on the door and the owners were there very surprised to see me 🤔🤔 I said hi I have a viewing which they replied oh we didn’t know and there has been no agent there today waiting for me, it was very awkward looking around and then I left, the whole situation was a joke how DARE YOU treat potential renters/buyers that way not even turning up and even letting the owners know, waste of my travel time and petrol money , email the agents and they replied back there was someone there but because u was 2 min late they left as there to busy to wait, CROCK of S**t no one was there confirmed bye the owners, I really hope your company goes bust and u all lose your jobs , I should of look at the reviews on here before contacting your agency as there shocking and the worst Iv ever see. For a company Shameful Sharon mcevoy rude lady stay clear

TrustpilotHunters
Hunters- Wallasey branchHunters- Wallasey branch. Horrendous. Absolutely no compassion or care during Covid-19. Even though the landlord is probably taken advantage of his mortgage holidays. Had no working fire alarms since February!!! Don’t reply to emails or answer the phone. DO NOT RENT OFF THESE. House was filthy when we moved in took me 4 days to clean before stuff could be moved in- told them this and they just said rented as seen.

TrustpilotAvoid at all costs. The worst of the worst!
Couldn't have come across worse agents. Took two months to get the house on the market because of continuous delays with contracts, photos and communications. Extremely unresponsive overall, would sometimes have to call for weeks to get an answer or an update. The agents come to house viewings without knowing anything about the house and they lie more than any service provider I've ever dealt with. The absolute bottom of the barrel of estate agents. Avoid at all costs!

TrustpilotIf I could give zero stars or negative
If I could give zero stars or even negative stars, I would. From renting the property, collecting the keys, discussing the lease renewal, to the recent issue with rent payments, it has been a complete disaster. When I first viewed the property, I told the agent at Hunter that my current lease was ending soon and I needed to speed up the process of getting the keys. The agent assured me it would be fine and agreed to hand over the keys on Monday. However, I spent the entire Monday chasing them from morning to evening, even going to their office, but still didn’t get the keys. When I arrived at their office, they told me some documents weren’t signed. I couldn’t believe they only realized this after I had to show up in person. The next day, I contacted them again in the morning, and once again, they weren’t ready. It wasn't until late Tuesday, right before their office closed, that I finally got the keys.A year later, when it was time to renew, Hunter told me the landlord agreed not to raise the rent, and I immediately accepted. They sent over the renewal documents, but before I could sign and return them, they called the next day saying the landlord had changed their mind and wanted to increase the rent by £200. I was shocked. How could they go back on their word? Hunter even insisted that the landlord had the right to do so because there were still two weeks before the lease renewal, otherwise, the landlord could end the tenancy. This felt like bullying, but I had no choice but to agree.Yesterday, I received the payment invoice for the renewal, but the amount listed was still the old rent. Since they issued the invoice, I paid the amount stated. Today, they realized their mistake and sent me an email asking for the remaining balance, even rushing me to pay immediately. I was at work at the time, so I couldn’t make the payment right away. Later, Hunter's agency called me, and instead of being polite, they demanded I pay as soon as possible. I told them I was working and couldn’t pay immediately, and that it was their mistake, not mine. They insisted I pay after work, but I had other commitments. I can’t believe they made the mistake but still had such a rude attitude.I will never use this company again, and I hope they go out of business to avoid further damaging the reputation of service companies in the UK.

TrustpilotI had Terrible Experience, Avoid at All Costs
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this estate agent. I paid a deposit for a flat, expecting everything to go ahead as agreed. Not only did they fail to give me the flat, but they also refused to return my deposit. Completely unprofessional and dishonest behaviour. I would strongly advise others to stay away, this is not how business should be done.

TrustpilotPoor customer service
My partner and I are looking to relocate to an area around a 5 hour drive away, we found a property with Hunters and booked a viewing. We loved the property so we asked the agent what to do next and he said email so we can get sent an application form; because we liked the property so much we emailed and called the branch to try and get ahead with our application. No answer from the branch after numerous calls over the period of an hour so we decided to go to the branch instead. After speaking to someone in branch (not part of the lettings team so they couldn't help us) they sent an email over to someone from the lettings department with our profile so they could send us an application form via email. This seems great, two emails, one from us and one internally expressing our interest in the property. However fast forward one week, with nothing from them and more attempts to contact from us, we finally get through to be told that someone that viewed on the same day as us has already completed all the applications and is set to start renting the property. No apologies or anything after explaining the situation and that we'd been trying to get in contact for a week.
